Ch.10 (Pt.3) • Caught in the middle

(Namra's POV)

We arrive at our destination much earlier.

We're here at our old school ,trying to get some information.

We're walking towards the entrance when suddenly Onjo who's beside me spoke

"Yaah! I missed this place." She yelled with a smile.

I got weird out by her and also spoke "Ah yaah..That's too much. You just graduated less than two years ago." I said, not when suddenly I saw the entrance stairs where I always admire her from afar.

-Flashback-

I heard a loud scolding outside the entrance that made me stand up and take a look at them.

I grabbed my bag that's resting beside me and slowly took a look.

I saw Miss Park and four students.

The four students continued circling around with their hands pinching their ears.

There's two girls and two boys doing the punishment.

"Take it seriously! It's your punishment for being late. You guys are indisciplined!" Miss Park shouted at them.

"Joesonghabnida!" One of the girls shouted.

I smiled because of her ,knowing she's Nam Onjo.

I didn't pay attention to the three, and just stared at her.

-End of Flashback-

A huge smile formed on my lips while remembering those days.

"Why are you smiling?" Onjo asked, which made me go back to my serious self.

"Are you thinking of when I was being punished?" She asked again.

I was completely surprised by her and asked her back "How do you know that?"

"Because you always made this face when I got punished." She answered and poked my waist.

I looked away from her and also answered "I was just looking." I said, and crossed my arms, completely serious.

"Ohh~ You're confessing that you always looked at me." She added, that made me slightly smirk.

I didn't continue the conversation we had and changed the topic "This place has changed a lot in just two years." I said, slowly walking away from her.

Seconds later I didn't feel her beside me and looked back.

"You're avoiding the topic~" She yelled and suddenly ran towards me, which surprised me.

I raised one of my eyebrows to her asking her 'Why?' She didn't mind my expression and started pushing me to go inside.

I held her hand that's holding my shoulder and sang "The wheels on the bus go round and round~" She immediately duetted with me and both of us entered the school like some crazy students.

After entering the school, we immediately walked towards where the principal's office is located.

Both of us stopped from walking ,remembering the last time we saw each other.

I heard Onjo sighed and suddenly asked me "Why didn't you say goodbye before you left?"

I looked beside me and saw her smiling "I was broken-hearted."

She got confused by my answer and asked again "Because of me or your mom?"
