I open eyes my to see people on the bus getting off as I lay there, half asleep in the seat. I take off my earbuds, put them in my bag, and got my stuff to leave the soft, yet old bus. As I leave, I look at the bus driver. Who is he? What does he do when he doesn't drive buses? I stopped wondering as I walked away from the bus.
As I walked I look at the sun, the morning september sun, one of the things that actually comforts and calms me. It is my friend yet my enemy. It is with me during the day, soothing me. At night it go's away, leaving me in the dark. I reach out for the sun's warmth, feeling it more the closer I get. Then it happened.
I fell down still trying to snap out of the sun's trance. I open my eyes to see a guy I never seen before. "Ahk ow..... Just great....." He said with annoyance in his tone. " Sorry I ran into you, I usually don't run into people like this."
"It's fine, I was in the way doing something stupid, my apologies." I said.
" Really? All I saw you do was look cute. What's stupid about that?"
"Heh nah, I'm not cute."
" Whatever you say." He said with a maniacal smile. "Let me help you pick up your books."
"Alright." I said tiredly while getting my books up.
"There you go." He said cheerfully. "By the way, my name is Mack."
"Thanks, I'm May, do you go here?"
" Yes, I been going here for about a year."
"Oh I hadn't noticed"
" Wow, thats saddening."
" Sorry, I just don't notice sometimes, I just get too busy and tired."
" It's fine, I know how you feel."
" Well I guess I'll see you later then."
" Yea see ya"
Huh. Well that was interesting. Why do I always must do this, day dreaming and blocking out the world. 'Mack' seems nice. I wonder why I haven't heard of him. I start walking away, going back to think about school. But I can't help to think about him.
