ADHIRA'S POV
I got ready after checking if all the arrangements were done properly.
I was searching for the Sindoor box when Siddharth entered the room with his phone in his ears
He analyzed the room the condition of the room and his eyes went wide
He lifted his eyebrows asking me, What I was searching for?with a horrified look on his face.
I indicated that I was searching for the Sindoor by dragging my index finger through my hairline,
"Here," Siddharth says as I turn to him
He fills my hairline,and then keeps the box and leaves the room talking on the phone.
I stood there in shock
Siddharth!!!
Why are you doing this to me???
SIDDHARTH'S POV
"Yeh shaadi sampan hui......"The pandit said
Then a few other rituals took place.
Adhira was not present there, I went in search of her when Shreya stopped me,
"Where's Adhira?"I asked her
"She might be here only, why are you searching for her?"She asks me
"Well I couldn't find her duh, "I say to her in a rude tone
"Look I just wanted to tell this to you for a long time, I know," She says
I look at her confused
"I know about the agreement between you both, Just don't hurt her."She says and then looks at Ritika.
"Don't worry Ritika doesn't know it yet, No one will tell her"She says and walks away
I could feel the anger bubbling in me
I make my way towards my room where I find her sitting on the bed.
I yank her away from the bed
A small gasp escapes her mouth
I then notice tears rushing down her cheeks
She looked at me with her tear-filled eyes
It showed I don't know
vulnerability?
My anger vanished and was replaced with worry.
She hugged me, It didn't take a minute for me to reciprocate.
"Kya Hua?"I asked her.
(What happened?)
She just shook her head.
I just let her stay.
I felt scared seeing her like this.
The Adhira I knew was the joyful one.
Not the one who is standing before me.
