Request: Vander seems to be the stubborn kind, how do you think he would be apologetic? Like got into an argument and reader isn't backing down. He admits being wrong and is the one to hold out the olive branch.

-It's unlikely that Vander would have a full blown argument over some small thing that was bothering him or giving him some inconvenience.
-When this does happen, though, it will escalate into a shouting match, before Vander eventually falls eerily silent, and walks away to calm down.
-He'll probably ignore you for a day or so, unsure of what to say – but it will seem rather cold.
-Eventually, he'll sit down with you, staring at his hands on the table, or surface of the bar.
-When he does eventually speak, lifting the heavy silence between the pair of you, he's slow, being very deliberate about his words, and gauging your reaction the entire time.
- "Listen... I know things got a little out of hand..."
- You'd be able to feel those cool grey eyes on you, practically burning a hole through you as you indignantly avoided his gaze.
- "But I think we're both bigger than this... We can move past the things we said - we both know we didn't mean half of it."
-He'd reach out and delicately cover your hand or forearm with his hand; it was surprising sometimes how physically careful he could be.
-"Listen," He'd try and get your attention despite your constant resistance to look at him. "I'm sorry."
- The words would hit you like a truck; Vander, the infamous hound of the underground, apologising to you.
- It's not that you didn't think it possible - you knew Vander was a sentimental man at heart.
- It was just odd - Vander didn't often or regularly apologise to anyone, not even Benzo, his closest friend (though you supposed that was somewhat part of their dynamic, they didn't need apologies).
- You'd quietly submit as well - there was no point in arguing about it anymore - though in truth you had forgotten the source of the argument since the initial escalation.
- After that, he'd probably dance with you near the jukebox in The Last Drop, or take you to bed just to snuggle and to feel the warmth of your body against his again.
- He'd missed that kind of affection when you'd fallen out after the argument.
