---the next day---
3rd POV:
Everyone is in the gym, ready for morning practice, when Tsukishima suddenly speaks:
"Oi Shrimpy, now that you're a girl and got even shorter, do you really think you should still play volleyball? I mean I don't say you can't play it, just that you won't be able to keep up with us."
The other players tense up, not liking that someone just dared to criticize their goddess and Daichi is trying to hold Suga up, who was ready to kill Tsukishima. Unlike everyone thought, Hinata calmly says with a bright smile that made Tsukishima blush (he quickly covered it with one of his large hands tho):
"I don't think I got even worse, but to be honest, I didn't try it yet. It's not a bad idea tho."
"Kageyama, you heard her. You both go to the court and get ready, I'm gonna throw the ball." Ukai decides, before anyone can suggest something different because he really wants to see her skills, too.
They get ready, Ukai tosses the ball to the Hinata, who received it perfectly to Kageyama. He sets to Hinata, who is already in the air. But it misses her hands for like 35 cm. Not because the toss was too high, no. because Hinata jumped so much higher than before. As Hinata lands with a sad face, the whole gym is silent.
"Ok what the actual fu-" Kageyama gets cut off by Daichi's hand covering Kageyama's mouth with an fake nice grin whispering into his ear: "You won't say a bad word in front of Hinata, will you?"
"I have three questions: Since when can you receive a ball so perfectly, how are you that fast and how can you jump that high Hinata? You were literally flying" the coach asks with a shocked face
"Uhm I don't know about the last two questions, but for the first; I obviously still wanted to practice volleyball but my mom said I shouldn't run around and jump till she bought me a sports bra so I focused on receives instead and let me tell you: when a four year old girl throws balls at you the whole time without really controlling where it flies, you really get good at knowing where you have to stand and how you lift your arms so you won't get a ball in face every time because that hurts like hell." The tiny girl explains with a smile
'This is really good. Now we can surprise our enemies we already fought with a new weapon and win against those who don't know us and are foolish enough to underestimate us' Ukai thinks with an evil grin.
"That's good news, but let's practice now. Kageyama, Hinata I want you to practice on that new quick attack, ok?" the tall, pierced man shouts.
---time skip to the end of practice brought to you by a Kenma in a cat costume---
When the blue haired boy and the ginger girl finally got their attack right, in an inhuman speed, the gym door gets opened by a breathless Takeda.
"I have good news everybody!"
After they all went to Takeda, he continues: "I just got a call from Nekomata and guess what? WE ARE INVITED TO A TRAINING CAMP IN TOKYO FOR 1 WEEK, in 2 weeks!!!" he shouts
"Yessss! I get to see Kenma again!" Hinata throws this sentence in the happy atmosphere and in a second the boys are not that happy anymore
"And in the camp will be not just Nekoma and us, but also Fukurodani and Ubugawa"
(A/n) at least I thing that are the only teams, please tell me if I'm wrong
The mood of the boys only got darker, much to Hinata's confusion.
"Alright Hinata, Yachi, Kiyoko you can leave, I have something to discuss with the boys, ok?" Coach Ukai says
"Ok, bye-bye everyone! Good night!" the orange haired girl responded and walks out, not after sending her signature smile to the team, making them blush of course. But she doesn't notice Kiyoko and Yachi secretly smirking.
"So, I think we all know why I talk to you right now, right?"
"We're invited to a training camp. A training camp with many boys who will fall for Hinata the second they see her, maybe some Managers too but I am more worried about what the male will do tbh." Daichi says with a cold voice.
"We have to make sure nobody touches our goddess!" Tanaka shouts, while the others nod in agreement
"Do you already have a plan?" Ukai asks
This conservation didn't end until they came up with a plan and Ukai finally decided to send them home.
