And so, the two weeks of training had begun. Y/N felt pretty confident in his current abilities, so he decided to do some more research into the Titans and Eldian. And, unsurprisingly, could find nothing. He was about to call the quits, when that voice came back to his head. The voice he heard when he entered his mindscape for the first time.
Nice to see you again.
"Ah, it's you. It's been a while . . ." Y/N said, not knowing her name.
Seeing as I don't have a name, you can call me Annie. One of the subjects of Ymir from the past times.
"Annie. Nice. Wait, you know about the Subjects of Ymir?" Y/N asked.
Overtime, you come across a great amount of knowledge. I was around since the dawn of time. I have taken on many hosts. I was around when the Titans were around. And I was there when they fell asleep.
"Asleep? You mean dead?" Y/N asked.
No. They are still very much alive. They are just waiting for the next Founding Titan.
"Founding Titan?" Y/N asked.
*Sigh* I'll show you.
A few seconds later, they were transported to the same place where Y/N met Yolamir 5 years before. Y/N looked around, and saw his younger self frozen in time, looking at the carved stones.
"That's me." Y/N said, walking up to the boy.
Yes. That is you.
"How come I don't remember this place?" Y/N asked.
It was removed from your memory. It wasn't time for you to see it. Now it is.
Y/N looked through all the tablets, making sure to create mindscape copies of them for later research. After some looking around, he got to the last one. The one that his younger self was looking at. The tablet was of a man sitting on a throne which was placed on a long H/C haired bone-like Titan, with an army of Titans behind him. After looking at the man for a moment, he noticed something very familiar.
"Annie. This man . . ." Y/N started.
Is you. Yes. Or, what you are to become. Ruler of the Titans. The leader of this planet. A party that never ends, with a host that never dies.
"Is there anything I can do to stop this? I don't want to hurt anyone." Y/N said, looking at the tablet in fear.
The only ones that will get hurt will be those that make themselves your enemy along your journey. But, there may be a way to prevent this. Be the better human. Continue your journey as a hero.
"Oh, that's it? Well, this will be simple. I'll just keep doing what i'm doing." Y/N smiled.
On the contrary. It will be almost impossible. Now that you are completely aware of what you are, and what you were originally meant to be, your titan blood will become more and more of an issue. Not only that, but once you destroy the rift to bring your mindscape into the real world, your Titan powers will burst out of control if you don't learn the proper ways to keep the Mindscape at bay 24/7.
"You say my titan blood will become more of an issue. Could you elaborate?" Y/N asked.
One of the most important things of shifting is to have a goal set in mind for when you shift. So when you go out to do the simplest of tasks, and if you so much as scratch yourself the wrong way, your Titan blood will see that as a reason to activate. When in that form, you will need to try and take back control, otherwise, you might find yourself going on a killing spree. If that doesn't happen, and you're let off the hook, other Titan shifters will come looking for you.
