Trigger warning- language
"Oh my gosh, the cutie's back," I tilt my head to the side and look over where Nana is looking.
My heart stops. I wipe my sweaty palms against my skirt. My stomach turns and I feel the blood drain from my face.
Sunghoon. Park Sunghoon. He's back? Crap.
"What's with your face, Cho?" Nana asks me, concerned for me.
"Umm... I can't believe you forgot what happened between us,"
"Oh!" Her eyes widen and she gulps hard nervously. I turn my face away, into my locker and I can literally hear his walking. I knew how he walked- I could tell if he was breathing okay- if he was stressed. I knew every single quirk and every single thing that made him upset. Every secret. And I destroyed him.
Broke his heart in front of everyone.
At a party.
How could I be so cruel?
"HeYyy!" I hear Soobin and Binna greet Sunghoon happily. How come they can be so happy together? It's not fair- Not at all.
I listen closely to their conversation- I mean it was only a few feet away from me.
"Have you seen Cho yet?" Oh, my gosh, his voice is still beautiful.
"She's right behind you," Damn you Soobin.
"Hey Cho, Sunghoon's back," I slowly turn around, force a smile on my face and see him. He's grown a lot since the last time I saw him. His hair is so cute. Everything is so cute. He looks so mature now.
"Hey," I say quietly. He doesn't look straight in my eyes. He says hello and says goodbye quickly. He walks away from me. I stand there, ringing my hands together sadly.
"You really f***ing broke his heart," Binna glares at me and I look away guiltily.
"I-"
"Binna, we have to get to class, let's go," I look away and feel my stomach roll.
"I really am sorry," I whisper, tucking my head back into my locker. "I'm sorry that I hurt you, but I'm not sorry we broke up,"
