"Mom, please! I gotta have it, it's all I've been talking bout'!" I pleaded with my mom for The Slim Shady LP that came out a month ago. "Just as my birthday present." I continued. She shook her head & breathed through her nose. "I've heard this Slim Shady & I don't like his music." My mom said smartly.

"I don't think it's that bad. In certain songs, I feel like he gets me. I feel like he gets everyone." I said not backing down my case. "I said no, Trina." My mom walked away upstairs before I gave her the bird. "And don't try to give me the bird either. You're not too old for an ass-whoopin'!" My mother said.

The next day, I walked outside to the bus with Lakeisha & Lawanda, my best friends who are twins. "So Rini, what did yo moms say about the album?" Lakeisha asked. "She said no, it's like a stick is up her ass all the time." I said pissed. "Yo moms is like Captain Cunt." Lawanda said as my other best friend Cyan came up behind us.

"How are my sistas today!" Cyan said with her happiness spreading. "Good for us. Bad for Tri." Lakeisha & Lawanda said with their big mouths. "Yeah, moms won't let me get the CD for my birthday." I said before pouting like a baby. "Well, you're in luck because..." Cyan took The Slim Shady LP out of her bag & 4 tickets to his concert.

"Happy early birthday T!!!!!" Cyan shouted. I almost screamed before noticing all the other kids who looked at us cross-eyed. "Y'all got a problem?!" Lakeisha & Lawanda said. Everyone turned their heads & we went back to our conversation until the bus came to take us to school.

"How did you get these?" I asked Cyan as we took our seats on the bus after it came to pick us up. "I got connections girl. You know, that my cousin is friends with Eminem & I told him that you're a big fan & really wanted to go to his show." Cyan said. "You are the best. I'm so glad you're my best friend." I said hugging her as we walked off the bus.

Only 3 more days until the show, & I get to meet the craziest man to ever steal my heart.
