I felt tears form in my eyes and the blush that was present intense a hundred fold. There was noises of protest from the table as I turn to see Cele and Tony standing up with similar faces of concern.
A blush like molten lava covered my face as I blurted out a quick- "I'm okay!", before pulling to door back, and rushing out. I was too much of a coward to look behind me as I ran to my friends. They were stopped up ahead near a set of trees. Vivian looked like she was about to choke, face flushed and wheezing while Julia looked at me with a look of concealed amusement. Julia ls face twisted as is she was holding back a laugh.
"Please tell me you didn't see that." I whispered, grabbing there hands and walking faster towards the near by pond.
"You mean you face planting into the door? Yes, absolutely one of the most hilarious sights to see!" Vivian exclaims gleefully.
"Vivian!" Julia scolds, face scrunching up in disdain as her tail flickers.
"What? I ain't gonna lie about that! The way thoose angel hotties looked as he left said it all, he must've got blinded by their beauty or some shit." Vivain rolled her eyes, mischief gleaming as she switched her sights onto me.
"Sooooo, Justin, what was all that about? Hmmm?" She purred, as we came upon the lakeside.
"Nothing!" I blurted out, feeling as if my preceeding blush came back with the fire of a thousand suns.
I didn't even know what had happened! It wasn't as if I was lying, just...omitting some things. Vivain shot me a knowing look as sitting down and setting her tray, which she held suspiciously easily with one hand, onto her lap. Julia huffed and did the same, leaving me to realize that in my haste that my lunch- was left on the cafeteria floor. Uhhh, great.
I plopped down next to them, the soft green grass tickling my hands slightly, my wings ruffling as a light breeze hit them. My head drops into my hands as I groan. Great, $3 dollars worth of food gone! While I wasn't looking forward to eating that barely edible piece of cardboard called pizza, food is better than no food.
"Not that I'm agreeing with Vivain, but what on the seven plans of hell happened? You were right behind us and then BLAM! Face planted into the door." Julia asks as she slides me her cup of fruit.
"Oohh, I know what happened! Didn't you see thoose angels looking at him? He probably got hit with the homosexual beam or something, and then didn't know how to walk straight!" Vivain explains, ears twitching almost excitedly.
I take a bit of fruit, looking anywhere else but at Vivain. Julia sighs as Vivian laughs to herself. Sometimes I think Vivian must be the real demon here, with her borderline sadistic nature.
"Viv, stop. Just because Justin is gay, doesn't mean he falls for any hot guy he sees. Right, Justin?" Julia says with exasperation leaking into her voice.
"Hey! I didn't say he falls for any guy, I just says he's got the big a C.R.U.S.H on thoose angels. I may be a bully but I don't stereotype." Vivain snaps back, pulling out some grass with one hand and throwing it at Julia.
"Bitch! I know you didn't just throw-" Julia snaps, hand raise with claws slightly extending.
"I think I like them." I spit put before a fight cam break out.
