Chapter 2: Tracy
"Oh no, that doesn't sound good". The sirenes of the police are all around us... we're trapped. "This wasn't the plan" Emily whispers beside me. "Oh, I thought it was" I hiss back at her.
"What now?" I hear Riley whisper behind us. Yes, what should we do now? Should we just go up to the police with our hands in the air or should we stay behind these metal boxes until they finally find us?
"Can't we just stay down? Maybe they won't find us." Xandra whispers back. No ofcourse not! They wouldn't find four women behind some metal boxes in a pretty small fabric, when they are with like twenty men and a couple of dogs. Xandra can be so gullible sometimes.
"We know you are here! Come out!" a hard voice shouts and it echos through the entire building. It makes me shiver. I hear footsteps really nearby and I can almost feel the dog sniff at me.
The smell of the little amount of paint, that was dripped on my hand, isn't that strong, but I still have the feeling that you could smell it even when you're about a kilometre away. It really bothers me with those dognoses so nearby.
Why do we had to do these stuff? Why don't we just paint on a surface what isn't illegal to paint on? I wouldn't care, but my friends do. My friends love the kick it gives being creative with spray cans in an illegal way, but I don't.
Don't get me wrong, I really love graffiti, I live for it. But there are enough places nearby where it's legal to paint and there are also people who wants to pay you for making a beautiful painting on there property. But no, me and my friends are always seeking for danger and splash our creativity on factories and citywalls.
But I really don't want to loose my friends because of this. I mean, we are as sisters. We're always together; laughing, crying and eating (we LOVE food). I love my friends, they are everything to me...
Not that I didn't even try to change their minds, but I'm not the boss, Emily is. Emily is the oldest, we're all 22 but Emily is 23. She brought us all together and made us the popular clique in college. I'm thankful for that...
A bright light hit me in the face and I also hear my friends groan behind me. "Now they got us" Xandra says. Ofcourse they do Xan... You really thought your hiding would exactly work? No, not for those guys.
"Hands in the air and don't move!" the police officer shouts and we do so. "You don't have to shout so hard, we are right in front of you" I mumble, but the police officer hears it and says:"If I was you young lady, I'll better shut my mouth!"
More policemans come running around the corner and take us with them to the carpark...
