Chapter 2 : try again
It was Friday ,my lucky day, so I desided to ask kim on a date when I saw her. As I'm walking around the corner to my locker I see Link bullying this other teenager, but not any teenager , Rob my best friend since we were in diapers. So I run to Link and screamed "Hey leave him alone" , " yeah, what are you gonna do?" He said as he grabbed my shirt lifting me up against the locker. He let go and left not allowing me to make a comeback then Rob thankfully said "thanks for standing up for me ", "no problem man , anything for a bro" i said . Then at a glance I saw kim in a beautiful dress that made her eyes shine, she saw me and waved goodbye as she started walking away. I thought to myself " I'm trying again " and starte running to catch up whit her, when I did I said " You know we can hang out later" , "No sorry, link and I are going shopping today "
she said in 'I don't like you' voice as she entered her art class.
When Science class ended I had to go to math class, the only class that kim and I had together. When all the class sat down Mr. Tensfort said "Today we will be working in pairs" , "yes!" the whole class said. The teacher started making the pairs and the said "last pair Kim and Jake" , "yessss!" I thought to myself, but she didn't have a good look on her face.
We sat down and I ,as a gentleman, started the conversation. "So what is the project going to be about?" I said, "didn't you even listen? we have to talk about how math helps with life situations" said Kim. We bounced some ideas off of each other and sometimes I could get her to laugh then sadly Math ended "I kinda had fun" she said as she flashed a beautiful smile, "me too"I said almost dying of excitement.
Another great day for me.
