𝐒𝐄𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐓𝐒, 𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀.

𝗼𝗻𝗲.

𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻𝗲, 𝗲𝗽𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗲.

      LANDON AND RAFAEL walk down the street to the church. Rafael felt like he has to go and confess his sins. His parents constantly nagging him to go down to the church and pray because of what happened. "Rafael, seriously, it's not right."

"It is what it is, Landon." Landon had chuckled, "You're not catholic, you shouldn't have to confess your sins."

Rafael turned to look at Landon with annoyance written on his face. "I tossed a lawnmower through the patio doors, bruh. If apologizing to god gets Hector and Maria off my back, so be it."

Rafael and Landon finally makes it to the church, walking in to see Maria holding a rosary while standing next to Hector and the priest.  Landon had his hands in his jacket pockets while Rafael was fidgeting his fingers. He felt a bit uneasy about this, but he wants to get this over with.

"Buenas tardes, Father Pietro."

"Buenas tardes, Rafael. Por favor, pray with me." Rafael looks around nervously before he gets on his knees getting ready to pray when the Hector spoke up to Landon. "Landon, you can leave now. It's okay, we can take it from here."

Landon look at him weirdly. "Um, I'm good, Hector." Maria suddenly spoke up while walking up to Landon to place a consoling hand on his shoulder. "Landon, this is between your foster brother and God, okay?"

Rafael looks back and Landon giving him a look of reassurance. "Hey, I got it, bro. Just wait outside." Landon slightly raises his eyebrow before making his way outside. Maria and Hector follow after him to walk him out.

Landon puts his headphones in while walking out of the church's door, sitting down on the steps. He patiently waited for Rafael to be finished. Maria stands in the doorway of the church with a rosary in her hand while watching Landon.

Hector and Maria rush to put chains on the door and Landon starts to sketch in his notebook. Rafael is further into the church praying with Father Pietro. They both make a cross on their foreheads.

"....Spiritus Sanctus."

"Hail Mary, full of grace, the lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst..." The priest starts to pray louder in Spanish. "God, whose nature is ever merciful and forgiving. Accept our prayer that this servant of yours DEPARTS."

Rafael starts to feel even more uneasy than he was before. "What's going on here?" He starts to get up when Hector and Maria came up to hold him down and Father Pietro starts to pray even louder than he was before. "What are you doing?!"

Rafael starts to feel his bones crack, making him scream while the two parents continued to hold him down. Father Pietro holds a cross to him, continuing to pray in Spanish.

"Accursed one, DEPART DEMON."

Rafael continues to scream and grunt as he falls forward in pain while more of his bones crack. His eyes turns a gold color, his teeth became sharper, his senses increased. Landon was still sitting on the steps when he saw a woman in a black cloak walk up to the door.

He stood up and questions the woman.
"Hey, what are you-" She snaps her fingers with a whisper of "Silencio" making his mouth shut. The cloaked woman continues her journey only for the door to be chained shut, it didn't take long for her to use her strength to open the door.

She spells the chains back on to make sure no one can get in. She vampire speeds in while the new wolf is still screaming in pain. The priest is still trying to pray this "demon" out of Rafael. She shuts the priest and the two parents down by saying ad somnum, making them fall asleep.

Rafael whispers help me, making Naomi look at him in sympathy. She slips her cloak hood off as she grabs her chains with her freshly done black nails as his nails and ears start to elongate. His spine bones start to shoot up, making the back of his shirt rip.

Rafael had got one clear look at her before the pain had got to him again, rendering his vision blurry. Rafael scratches the floor as Naomi gets the chains and collar attached. The woman puts her hand on his back as she starts to chant the spell to
help ease the pain.

"Asinta mulaf hinto, sho bala."

Just as she finishes, she hears the chains break open, three people walk in. He look at the pair in horror, black veins trailing up the woman's arm. Naomi undoes her silent spell on Landon as she slips her hood back on.

Landon feels the retraction and sighs in relief of the feeling to be able to talk again. Hope looks at the woman, wondering how she had got there before them.

"Who are you?"

The now fully cloaked woman slowly turns to the three as she continues to stand next to the wolf form of Rafael. Naomi had walked closer to them. To the point where Hope could see very clearly into her hood but there was no face, only darkness.

The redhead couldn't identify who this mysterious being is. Hope didn't need to know who she was. Not yet. Naomi gives her a light chuckle before whispering silently to the point where Hope almost couldn't even hear her.

"Evanescere." The cloaked women disappears into thin air, leaving behind a cloud of black smoke and a chained wolf.

THE FOUR PEOPLE WERE riding in the car back home to Mystic Falls. Rafael looking out the window, Alaric focusing on the road, Landon still a bit dazed from what he had just witnessed. Alaric was the first to speak up.

"How do you two know each other?"

Hope turns to him to respond. "He used to search me milkshakes at the Mystic Grill." She glances back at Landon while he responds with her favorite drink. "Peanut Butter Blast. Whipped cream on the bottom."

Hope turned to him once again, giving him a slight smile. Landon continues on. "We danced once."  The tribrid lightly laughs as she reminisced. "We tried." Landon looks at her uncomfortably, thinking back to what she did with her mind.

He still looked uncomfortable as he responded to her. "And then you moved away. Then, you made a door blow off it's hinges with your brain." Hope smile fades while she glances back at Landon again.

"Do you feel like explaining that?" Alaric cuts in. "Oh, we'll explain everything. We're almost there." Landon takes a peek at Rafael, who is fast asleep with his head tilted back. He turned his head to look out the window, he sees a barn. "Where are we going?" Landon asks. Alaric responds.

"Somewhere... safe."
