Chapter 7

'Woah. The whole mood here changed completely when Mikey stood in front of them.' Takemichi thought. 'So this is the power the commander of Toman holds.'

"I've brought you here today to talk about Moebius." Mikey began. "If they go up against us, it'll mean war."

Takemichi was too busy wondering who Moebius was and what Mikey meant by war to notice the two figures behind him, one of which gave him a harsh kick to the back, causing him to thud to the ground.

"Hey, what the hell?" Takemichi said as he turned to face the two angry males behind him. "What'd you do that for?"

"Problem?" The male who kicked him, Peh-Yan, said.

"You're that Hanagaki punk, right?" The other male, Pah-Chin, said.

"You're the little shit that got our boss Kiyomasa put out of comission, huh?"

"Yeah, and I'm thinking you're gonna have to pay for that."

Takemichi was feeling rather intimidated by the two of them at this point.

"Pay for it how?" He asked, hoping he was wrong about the answer.

"Back off, Pah." Mitsuya said as he and Rima approached the scene. "You know full well we're supposed to drop the whole Kiyomasa issue now since he used Toman's name to promote his little fight club."

"Huh? Well, I'm stupid I guess 'cause I don't know what any of that means." Pah retorted.

"Yeah, remember Pah has the brain of a sand flea." Peh-Yan said, probably not even realising he just insulted him.

"Who asked for your opinion, ya dipshit?" Pah-Chin yelled at Peh-Yan.

"Hey, Pah. Keep your mouth shut." Draken piped in from where he stood observing the scene.

"Sorry, Draken." Pah apologised begrudgingly.

The two then walked away.

"Don't hold it against him. Pah's pretty pissed right now." Rima said.

"He's sorta outta control, isn't he?" Takemichi said as they watched the duo leave.

"His best bud got worked over by Moebius. That's where all this began." Rima told him.

"What do you mean? What happened?" Takemichi asked curiously.

"It was Osanai. He's the leader of Moebius and a rough dude." Mitsuya began to explain. "Pah's pal crossed him and got the shit beat out of him and they raped his girlfriend right in front of him."

"To top it all off, they took all his money and later, they beat up his parents and siblings too." Rima added.

"Brutal." Takemichi commented, not really knowing what else he could say to that.

"That's just the way the whole Moebius gang operates." Mitsuya told him. "They're two generations above our gang and they run Shinjuku."

"What? I thought Toman ran this whole area." Takemichi said.

"Toman runs Shibuya." Rima clarified. "Shinjuku is separate. Our whole gang is still relatively new too."

'So, in this time frame there was another gang that was even bigger than Toman.' Takemichi thought. 

"Well then, Pah." Mikey spoke, bringing their attention back to him as he spoke to the current captain of the gang's Third Division. "War?"

Pah-Chin stood before Mikey, his body bent in a respectful bow as he responded to his leader.
