Chapter 4

*Johanna's P.O.V*
After all the craziness that happened this morning and going through the hell people call school especially for someone who is shy like me I finally could go to life guard duty and just be by myself. I was sitting there in la la land when someone caught my attention.

"So when are you gonna come down from there?" A male voice asked. I looked down to see a tan boy with jet black hair with a shorter blonde boy. All of a sudden I wasn't so shy.

"Well this is my job so possibly when someone drowns" I sarcastically stated.

"So you can't come down here and talk to me?" He asked with a smirk. I shook my head and an idea smile played at the corners of his lips.

"So if I went out there and drowned it would get you to come down here to me?" He asked pointing at the ocean. I rolled my eyes before replying.

"Pretty much" I said. He smirked at me before not even going knee deep in the water and waving his arms around screaming help. I crossed my as and gave him a seriously look. This time e went to where the water was to his neck and screamed help. He bobbed his head up and down above the water.

"Are you gonna help my friend or nah?" His friend asked with a smirk. I groaned and pulled my shirt off of my head and ran out to the water to save a boy from fake drowning. I finally brought him back to shore and he was actually really tall compared to me.

"So I'm here now what did you have to say?" I said looking up at him. He smiled at me.

"I just wanted to know your name and if I can have your number?" He smirked. I laughed before giving him my number and going to head back to my chair. I climbed up the ladder to the large chair. I saw the boy drying his hair before coming over to me.

"Am I allowed up?" He asked. I just nodded since I knew he wouldn't give up until I did just like he did with me leaving the chair. He crawled up and sat down next to me. The sun was just setting and he smiled over at me.

"You get to watch this every night?" He asked and I nodded.

"Why are you so quiet all of a sudden?" He asked and I shrugged I guess my boost of confidence was gone.

"Your shy aren't you? Why weren't you earlier" he asked.

"Confidence" I mumbled and he chuckled.

"This sunset is beautiful" he said and I smiled at him. He turned and looked at me.

"But not as beautiful as you of course" he said and I blushed. He put his arm around my shoulders and I saw my shift was over. I called Gingie and she picked me up before taking me home. I soon got a text from the boy I met earlier.

?: I never caught your name?

Me: Johanna but call me JoJo

?: I'm Jack I love your name😏

Me: thanks I like yours too😂

Jack: My name mostly describes how fabulas I am👏🏻

I rolled my eyes and kept texting him. While we were sitting there it turns out the other met guys to and Gingie was sober. Life is going our way now!
