Unexpected roommate[EDITING]

"Panaginip lang ba yung nangyari kagabi?" I was talking to myself while eating my breakfast.

Hanggang ngayun ay hindi parin ako makapaniwala sa nangyari kagabi.

"Ok recall ko lang... first, tumawag si ate Azilei, kinuha ko si Vince na lasing, tapos..." Tumayo ako sa kinauupuan ko at nagpalibot-libot sa kusina, trying to recall what happened yesterday. "....tapos nag confess si Vince sa'kin.."

I covered my mouth, trying to hide my smile. Eh pano ba kasi, kinikilig talaga ako!

Sinampal ko ng mahina ang kabila kong pisnge, trying to pull myself together. "Wag mag expect!" I said to myself. "Lasing siya, Alexis. Lasing." I reminded myself.

Anyways, Kailangan ko tong ichika kay Jane! Dapat updated si Jane neto!

With that thought, nagmamadali akong tawagin si Jane sa cellphone ko.

"Jane!" Deretsong sigaw ko sa kaniya when she finally answered the call.

[Tangina beh, sakit mo sa tenga..] Sermon niya.

"Punta ka dito maya, may chika ako!" I said excitedly.

[May lakad ako beh eh, pero try ko lang ha...] May halong lungkot ang tono ng boses niya.

"Sige, sure!" I agreed.

Nakatulala lang akong nakahiga sa couch, waiting for Jane.

"Anong oras na ba," Tinignan ko ang oras sa cellphone ko. "10:05 am." i read the time aloud.

"Makakapunta kaya si Jane dito?" I asked myself.

I quickly stood up when i heard someone knocking my door.

"Wait lang!" Nagmamadali akong pumunta sa pintuan, thinking it was Jane who was knocking.

I cheerfuly grabbed the doorknob and twisted it to open, "beh-"

Nawala ang ngiti ko at nanlaki ang mga mata ko nang nakita ko si Vince sa harapan ko instead of Jane. He was still wearing the polo he wore last night, three buttons unbuttoned. He has messy hair and was still wearing the same pants. He was a hot mess. My heart started beating faster than normal when i remembered his confession last night.

"Alexis-"

Hindi ko siya pinatapos mag salita, i pushed the door to close it pero agad din niyang nilagay ang isang kamay niya sa pintuan, not allowing it to fully close.

"Alexis, please..." He pleaded, the door was halfway open.
"....talk to me."

"I-I know you didn't mean what you said last night..." I say, while the door between us is still halfway open. "..naiintindihan ko din, alam ko namang lasing ka kaya-"

"I meant every word i said last night.." He cut me off, while still holding the door.

My lips parted, shocked and left in disbelief of what he just said. Sinabayan pa ito ng bilis ng tibok ng puso ko.

"T-Talaga?" I stuttered.

He pushed the door to fully open it. "I meant it, i promise...i do like you."

A-Ano daw? Totoo ba talaga?

I looked down, i suddenly can't look him in the eyes, i felt shy and embarrassed at the same time. "Hindi pa ako sure sa feelings ko eh.." Mahinhin na sabi ko sa kaniya.
