(What she's wearing👆🏻)
_____________________It had been about a week since the seal was broken.
A week since the Ten Commandments had risen.
Nothing had happened so far.
Everyone kept their ears to the ground and King Bartha kept his mind clear in case he got another vision and Meliodas had been training and running errands for Merlin to keep his mind occupied.
Valentina made sure to stick close to them both.
It was the safest option at the moment, and it was also the one with the most minimum casualties.
She could hold her own against one of the commandments, but she would prefer having the daughter of Belialuin to back her and Meliodas was a major threat to all the commandments.
Ban and King had taken off a few days ago to go to Fairy Forest.
Valentina heard of its destruction and was saddened by the news of one of her homes being destroyed.
She wasn't welcomed there due to her mother's crimes.
However, she was still raised there and the man who raised her up until she was old enough to care for herself lived there.
He didn't have to.
He could have left her.
Abandoned her.
Left her to die.But he didn't.
He protected her and he raised her.
She wanted to go with them as well, but knowing how long fairies live she knew she probably wouldn't be welcomed back very easily.
After everything she's done, it wouldn't even be an option.
Everyone was currently getting ready to leave for another mission. They still had to find the last sin, Escanor, and inform him of the change.
They were no longer considered criminals. He didn't have to hide anymore.
Meliodas hoped he could convince the giant of a man to fight with them. It would help to have some extra muscle power.
As everyone else was packing for the trip Valentina was checking on all the supplies they had.
Merlin had requested it.
As she was doing this, her mind wandered toward the seal being broken. It was odd to say the least.
She could still feel the power of the Ten Commandments. It was washing over her in waves. So, there was no fluke when it came to the fact that they were out.
However, she knew they weren't at full power. If they were she wouldn't be standing right now.
Besides, Zeldris would have tried to find her by now. Knowing him, the moment he felt she wasn't where he left her, he'd be after her in a second.
Hunt her down like prey and devour her like she was nothing.
Or maybe he just decided she was no longer worth his time. No longer something to be bothered with.
She really hoped that was the case.
*•°°•Scene Change•°°•*
Zeldris sat at the top of a large rock with his hands under his chin. His face was blank but each of the commandments could feel his rage.
They had been released into the human world about a week ago.
His first thought was to get Valentina from the mountain.
