Makarov's P. O. V.

It was a typical day at the guild. Cana sitting at the bar, gulping down a whole barrel of wine, then another, then another. And then there was Natsu and Gray yelling their heads off at each other. Erza, being the scary woman she is, simply walked up and smashed their heads together, then yelled at them for squishing her precious cheesecake. And then Levy and Lucy reading books, Mirajane and Kinana working together at the bar. Everyone was busy in some sort of way. Children, children.

Suddenly, a letter was handed to me from Macao. "I found it on the floor right outside our guild." Huh, weird.

I opened it and found a pink seal with the Fairy Tail symbol on it: Mavis's seal. I touched my finger on it, and it revealed a message from Mavi's, the first master.

"Greetings, Makarov. I'm glad to see that everyone is well. No master can be better than you. But enough chit-chat. I'm here to remind you that the Dragon Season is taking place this year. It will be held in precisely three months. Make sure you prepare all three of your first generation dragon slayers for this event. Good bye, and give my greetings to everyone." After it finished speaking, the picture of Mavis slowly disappeared. How can I forget, first master? But thank you anyway. I thought to myself.

I walked up to the balcony, then cleared my throat. "Attention." I said. No answer. "Attention." I repeated, a bit louder. Still no answer. "ATTENTION!!!!!!!" I yelled. A couple of members perked their head up, but the majority of the guild members were still busy. Angered, I smiled at the attentive members, and slowly used my magic to make myself larger. Once completed, I smashed my hand on Natsu and Gray, who were making the most commotion.

"I've called for attention THREE TIMES IN A ROW, but only a couple of people have answered." I shouted. At this, everyone froze in place. "Thank you. Now let's continue."

"First of all, Mavis gives her regards to everyone. But more importantly, dragon season is coming. Does anyone know what that means?" Everyone had a puzzled look on their face, besides my grandson, Laxus. Being a second generation Dragon Slayer, he knew what I was talking about. "Well, let me explain. Dragon season is the day where all first generation dragon slayers have to mate. You should all pay attention, especially our three dragon slayers, not counting Laxus, as he is Second Generation. The event takes place in a Sky Labyrinth, made especially by the Council for the Grand Magic Games elimination round, but is also used for dragon season. Dragon season comes only every 100 years, so it is very important and cannot be missed."

I now turned to where Natsu, Gajeel, and Wendy were standing. "You only have 24 hours to complete your mission. Every guild does it separately. All members of Fairy Tail will be dispersed throughout the Labyrinth. You must choose one person to marry you. If you fail to find a loved one in the time limit, all the Fairy Tail masters, previous and current, will gather to choose one for you. If successful, you may stay with your mate forever. It is basically a hide-and-seek game played by the entire guild. You three MUST NOT work together, and no clues will be provided. You won't be able to smell or hear anything as well as usual, and you will not get motion sickness. Do you remember the Grand Magic Games, you three?" The three dragon slayers nodded their heads. "Good."

"It will take place in exactly three months. You may now all go back to what you were doing. Natsu, Gajeel, Wendy, come with me. I need to talk to you."

I led them to my office, where I talked to them for a while. "I know that you all have longtime crushes. Natsu, you like Lucy and Lisanna, but you can't really decide between both. Gajeel, you like Levy. And Wendy, you have a crush on little Romeo." At this remark, all three dragon slayers blushed. "I am hoping that you will succeed, but if you fail, I will try to cooperate. But it only matters if the past masters agree. Ok?" They nodded, and left my office.
