Chapter 2: Time to Freak Out!

I'm going to add some Japanese into this chapter. Sorry if it's incorrect!

Wendy's P. O. V.

As the master led us to his office, I began freaking out. What am I gonna do how can I find Romeo what if I fail I don't want to be with anyone except Romeo I wasn't there at the Grand Magic Games elimination round because I passed out at the castle I was only the reserve member now what am I going to do I've never been on the Sky Labyrinth I don't even know if I'm allowed to use magic!!!!!!!!! Calm down, Wendy. How can I be calm at this time I am totally freaking out right now!

We had made it, and we walked inside and sat down. Master at his leather seat at his desk, Natsu and Gajeel next to each other on one side of the guest seats, me at the other side alone. The whole time, I was still freaking out. Why haven't I even heard about this Dragon Season event Carla has never heard of it either it seems that NO ONE has heard about it except Laxus and the masters and the Magic Council. And what if I don't get Romeo if I fail? He's the only one I love and at my age what if I get paired up with someone way older than me??? As I was thinking to myself, I didn't realize that the Master was calling me and waving his hand in my face.

"Wendy? Wendy? Wendy? EARTH TO WENDY!!!!" I snapped back to attention, and started apologizing nonstop.

"Gomen'nasai! Gomen'nasai! Watashi o yurushitekudasai! (I'm so sorry! I'm so sorry! Please forgive me!)"

"Daijobu, Wendy. (It's okay, Wendy.)" he said, generously. I sighed in relief. "Anyways, as I was saying, if you fail, your mates will be chosen by all the masters of our guild. Master Mavis, Purehito, Macao, Gildarts, and Me. Macao, Gildarts, and I will try to cooperate, as we know that Natsu like Lucy or Lisanna, but can't choose between the two, Gajeel likes Levy, and Wendy, you have a crush on Romeo. If you fail, we will try to choose the ones you love, as we want you to be happy. But Natsu, if you can't tell me by the end of the third month who you truly love, then we will have to choose for you. Understood?"

"Hai! Domo arigatogozaimas! (Yes! Thank you very much!)" Then the three of us left the room.

Oh, I forgot to mention. Ever since the Grand Magic Games, when Gajeel found that dragon graveyard, the three of us have become closer. We hang out together much more then before. We sometimes go on jobs together, too. Especially if it goes far away from our city. After we complete the job and get our reward, we spend a day or two more there, hoping to find clues about our dragons. But we've never really found anything, it's like finding a needle in a haystack! Over time, we developed a signal when we wanted to talk to each other. We would tug our ears, then meet at the Rainbow Sakura tree in the park.

Well, it seemed like we all wanted to talk, because when we made it down the stairs and sat back down at the bar, we looked at each other all at the same time and tugged our ears. Then we burst out laughing, then went to the park.

"Hey, guys. I just wanted to talk about this Dragon Season a little bit." I said. "Have any of you ever heard of it?" They both shook their heads. "Are you nervous?" I pressed on. Natsu and Gajeel looked at each other for a minute, then turned back at me and both nodded their heads. I made a mental note to tell them that they haven't talked yet.

Then Natsu spoke up and yelled, "Well, seems like we can't train or anything, so why don't we just FREAK OUT?????" And then he ran all over the park, screaming and making a ruckus. Gajeel joined him. All the people there immediately stopped what they were doing and looked at them like they were maniacs. Boys these days. I thought to myself and giggled quietly. I realized that there really was nothing to worry about. I started to walk back to the guild, glad that my huge burden was taken off my shoulders.
