after the ruins..

*Mattholomules pov* Me and the twerp were walking backing to the town, when we suddenly hear a roar. I quickly grab Gus' hand in alert. "what was that?" Gus ask calmly , "I don't know?" i say nervously. Gus looks down at me holding his hand, I pull away " Sorry" I say blushing a little, He smiles "it's alright" I walk ahead a bit embarrassed of what i just did, "wait up, Matt!" Gus calls as he runs to catch up with me. I ignore him, 

*time skip*

as we approach town, I get a sudden urge to do something, something i would probably regret later... I lean over and kiss Gus on the cheek "I-" he says startled. I stare at him for a few seconds then i run back to my house. once i reach home i look back to see Gus still paralyzed of shock, i run in the house into my room. "ughhh, why did you do that Matt?" i say as i talk to myself. "stupid , stupid , stupid!" i fall onto my bed. i hear a knock at the door "who's there?" I call out a bit annoyed. "it's me, Gus!" i roll over on my back, "what do you want?"

*time skip*

Gus is now in my room looking around while i lay on my bed, "Oo Matt what is this?" he says while picking up a drawing i made of me and him, "Hey! put that down, twerp!" i grab it out of his hand "Jeez, sorry" he mumbles. i stuff the drawing in a box, i turn to lay down when i notice Gus is gone. "Gus?" i try ... no answer- "Gus??" i try again, no answer i start to get worried when all the sudden he jumps from off my bed onto my back causing both of us to fall. "OW" he giggles. i shove him off of me standing back up "don't do that again twerp.." He gets up "sorry"

*later*

We are both laying on the bed in silence, "Why did you kiss me in the cheek?" he ask all the sudden "I-" but i dont know what to say so it goes silent again.. "you know you could of just asked?" he says while glancing over at me. I blush. I lean towards him he just lays there staring at me. I kiss him again, but this time on the lips. i then pull away. "whoah..." he says
