I just couldn't sleep. Fluffy screeched at me and walked out of my room. I dragged myself out of bed to follow her. She waited for me, and then I followed her to the door that led to the garage. She sat there and looked up at me as if she were waiting for me to open it. Maybe she wanted to go outside? I opened the door for her and followed her outside. It was midnight. Fluffy shot down the street at the speed of light. "Fluffy, where are you going? Wait up!" I shouted. I ran after her. I'm fairly fast, but not as fast as she was.
She was taking me somewhere. I ran and ran until I plopped down on the street, out of breath and unable to run any further.
"Fluffy... wait!" I panted. I couldn't see her any longer.
But before I could even cry, a car came speeding towards me. I shut my eyes tight and covered my head with my arms.
But I didn't get hit by the car. It didn't even touch me. I looked up and saw something unbelievable. "Am I in heaven?" I thought. I had to be because there was a whole godforsaken unicorn right in front of my damn eyes.
The unicorn used its body to shield me from the car, but it was unharmed. I got off the floor and saw something even stranger.
The car was frozen. It wasn't moving, and neither was its driver. It was as if they were frozen in time.
Suddenly, the car disappeared.
Out of thin air.
Right in front of my eyes.
It was gone.
