Deep within the forests of Camelot, Abigail rides straight for the castle.
"Come on girl," Abigail says urging her horse onward. As the trees fly past Abigail, she notices a strange figure walking towards her and her horse. Suddenly the strange figure becomes clearer and reveals a boy. He doesn't stop walking and continues forward not looking at his surroundings.
"Watch out!" Abigail screams, the boy perks his head up and jumps out of the way. Abigail stops her horse and turns around to the boy.
"I am so sorry for almost killing you with my horse, but pay closer attention to your surroundings so this doesn't happen again," Abigail tells the boy laughing.
"Sorry about that. I'm just lost" The boy states looking around.
"Maybe I can help, where are you going?" Abigail asks the boy.
"Camelot," He says looking at her.
"I'm heading there now, maybe I can give you a ride?" Abigail asks reaching her hand out to the boy. He takes her hand smiling and she pulls him up onto her horse. He wraps his around her waist and they ride into Camelot together. As soon as they arrive at the gates, the boy hops off Abigail's horse and Abigail follows soon after.
"Thank you for the ride," He says smiling at her.
"Anytime," She says smiling back at him. She turns around to walk into the city but stops when the boy calls to her.
"Wait! I never got your name." He says looking at her.
"Abigail." She responds with a smile.
"Nice to meet you, Abigail." He responds with a smile.
"And you..." She says trailing off.
"Merlin." He said finishing her sentence.
"Merlin." She says smiling. She turns around and walks into the gates leaving Merlin there alone.
Abigail reaches the stables and puts her horse back into the stall. Abigail starts to take off the gear when a voice stops her.
"Let me do that for you, Abby." A voice says. Abigail turns around and notices Gwenivere standing there.
"Are you sure?" Abigail asks. Gwen nods her head and grabs the stuff from her.
"Go. Your brother and father are most likely waiting for you." Gwen says. Abigail's eyes widen and she sprints to the castle. She quickly runs to the throne room and notices no one out there. She looks around confused when suddenly someone's voice appears from behind her.
"You're late." A voice says. Abigail quickly turns around and notices her brother standing there leaning against the door frame with his arms crossed.
"You think I didn't notice?" Abigail says pointing to the empty throne room. Arthur approaches her and looks down at her.
"You're short." He says and then walks away.
"I'm still older than you!" She shouts back at him.
"By one minute!" He shouts back. Abigail rolls her eyes and heads up to her room. She notices Morgana looking out the window. Abigail taps her shoulder and Morgana looks at her.
"What's up?" Abigail asks. Morgana points to the courtyard. Abigail takes a look outside and notices her father talking to a large group of people with a man being escorted from the dungeons.
"Let this serve as a lesson to all. This man, Thomas James Collins, is adjudged guilty of conspiring to use enchantments and magic under the laws of Camelot. I, Uther Pendragon, have decreed that such practices are banned on penalty of death."
