"Detective have you finished that case then?"
"Yes sir! It's all set up and ready for you. Come down to the station. Take too Wright. Then we can get started with it pal. It's also good you are back right sir? You are back I'm not imaging it. "
"Great thank you Detective. Of course I'm back Gumshoe. I'll be there."
After hanging up the phone. I looked at Wright be who was still enjoying the tea I had given him. It was nice to see.
"Well Phoenix I have a little job for us to do. It's nothing bad I promise. I won't do anything to hurt you in anyway." I felt like I had to reassure him it was for the best. I didn't need him wandering around wondering where on earth he's gotten to.
If I could I'd continue doing paperwork and learning other languages, not just that but also the justice system that was important in line of work I choose to do. At the same time helping Wright is interesting.
"Uh huh! I trust you. Miles I don't really get why I do so much but I trust that. You don't need to tell me. I'll trust whatever you say." I find it strange how he is still like this even after losing his memory.
Before I left I put the letters in my pocket. So whenever I got a moment I could read, the letters that Phoenix had wrote for me. Well I assumed he did while his memory was intact. Either that or its from Oldbag. Ugh I hate thinking about her.
"Okay follow me Wright. Just put the teacup on the side I'll deal with it later." Phoenix did what I asked him to do and then followed me out the room. I decided it would be still better for Phoenix to walk rather than I use my car. If he should remember this path I'm taking , he used to have to walk everywhere as he couldn't drive. At least last time I saw him that fact hadn't changed it might of in that time however your mind never forgets important paths you once needed to remember the way too that location. That is simple memory, if you couldn't remember how to get somewhere and you have been a lot it's a little strange to not. Unless of some memory lost in that case sure.
When we both walked to the police station , Phoenix stopped to stare at the blue badger that Gumshoe had made. I still hate that thing.
"What's the deal with this creepy mascot."
"That Phoenix is the police's mascot. I'll agree it isn't the most friendly thing I've ever seen, however some people have actually grown to quite like the Blue Badger."
"You don't like it either? "
"No I'm not too partial to it."
The Detective came out of the building. I guess he must have heard the things I was talking to Phoenix about.
"There's you are sir. Nice to see you again! I've missed you Mr Edgeworth sir. Phoenix I'm sorry about the memory loss pal. Oh my name is Dick Gumshoe."
"Umm nice to meet you. Again? I think I'm sorry am I in trouble?"
"Phoenix no not at all. Me and the Detective wanted to let you do a case. We thought it might help things click. "
"Yeah exactly pal oh and uhh we roped Maya into being the defendant. So she's been put in the detention centre for now. I'm assuming you're going to be taking Wright around Mr Edgeworth sir."
"Of course I will detective. Come on Phoenix let's go meet your client yes?" I know he knows that it's not a real case but hopefully he takes it as serious as he usually takes his cases. I also have to help him though the entire process too.
"Alright I'll follow you around Miles. Do we have to walk everywhere? I'm getting a little tried of all this walking."
"Well I could drive us later then. Besides at least the detention centre is here anyways. " I walked him into the detention centres room. Where Maya was waiting around.
