Chapter 14

Jess's POV
I wake up in a very uncomfortable position. Ugh. Airplanes. I never know the right way to sleep on them. I can't just sprawl out like I do at home. Whatever. Where am I now?
I look out the window to see where we are. All I see are clouds.
Then I notice a heavy head is on my shoulder. Wth? Who is this creep? I look over and see that it's Matt.
He's actually kind of cute. NO JESS NO. HE BULLIED YOU! But he did help me with my bags. He's trying to be nice to me I guess. Maybe he feels guilty.
Then I hear an announcement:
"Ladies and Gentlemen, we are now half way through the flight. Please make yourselves comfortable and enjoy the rest of the flight!"
Ugh so many more hours.
At the sound of the announcement, Matt jumps up and is startled. It was actually pretty funny. I wish I got a video of that.
"Wh- where are we?" Matt asks with his eyes partially closed.
"Ok don't freak out but we lost one of the planes wings and we are flying down to our death and there is no way to save ourselves!" I say trying to trick Matt.
"Jess!!! Please tell me you're kidding!" He says looking really worried.
Afraid he'll cause a scene and embarrass us, I tell him I was just messing with him.
"So, how's life?" Matt asks. Then he face palms himself.
"We made your life miserable, didn't we?" He says quietly.
"Yeah pretty much like a living hell." I say looking straight ahead.
"Jess, we are really sorry. We were immature idiots and had no right to treat you the way we did." Matt said desperately trying to get me to forgive them.
"Well, I'll just put it past me if you guys promise to be nicer to everyone!" I say
"Thank you thank you thank you!" He says happily and gives me an awkward side hug considered we are buckled in on the plane.

Matt and I talk for the rest of the flight about random things and I'm starting to get the feeling that he likes me:)

But, who's complaining? I think I might like him too. NO JESS. Wait... Yeah ;)
