this is rlly just a WIP but essentially the fic is based upon ash's sceptile reflecting on his past with Nurse Joy's Meganium. Although this happened ages and ages ago, even the thought of how feeble he'd wound up when his feelings weren't returned still haunts him to this very day. a certain serpentine who's also once had her heart broken can sympathize, and it is only through a midnight confrontation are they able to learn to love again. id love to properly make use of this prompt soon 🙌
