Austins P.O.V.

Why does she keep on running from me? What is it that is so bad for me to know?

I got out of the car and followed her scent. It wasn't really hard either, especially because of her bleeding.

I heard leaves being crunched and I froze. I heard a cry in pain and ran towards it knowing it was Kristina's.

Not knowing where I was going I blindly followed her cries and her scent. I reached a medow and saw Kristina, hunched over crying. I walked up to her and saw that the blood flow had stopped.

"Tina" I said. She turned around her eyes red and puffy.

"What happened?" She croaked.

"I'll tell you later come on" I said. She nodded getting up and limped towards me. Her legs were unsteady so I held her hand supporting most of her wight.

When we reached the car I picked her up then gently set her in it. She yawned making me crack a little smile because of how she reminded me of a pup.

"Austin?" She asked.

"Yea" I replied.

"How come I'm not afraid of you?"

"I don't know. Who are you afraid of?"

"mum...De..." She mumbled then she fell asleep.

Mum? Why would she be afraid of her. I pulled into the pack house and picked her up bridal style. Walking into the doctors room I asked him to take a look at her.

"But she's human" He said

"And I said look at her"

"Yes Alpha" he said quickly trying to get done. He put his hand on the bottom of her spine where most of the blood was.

He had some blood on his hand and looked at it as if in deep thought. Carefully he lifted up the bottom of her shirt an looked at the place the blood was.

"How resent was this accident?" He asked.

"I'm not sure." I said.

He frowned at her.

"What is it?" I asked worried.

"I am not sure my alpha."

He looked at her as if he was calculating something. All of a sudden his face cleared up and he hesitantly touched her shoulder.

I heard a gasp then, Kristina slowly opened her eyes. I visibly relaxed, letting out a breath I didn't know I was holding.

"Austin?" She asked. Her voice was hoarse but it still sounded nice, cutting through the air and reaching my ears.

"Yes it's me'" I replied.

"W-what time is is?" She asked.

Looking at the clock hanging on the wall. I answered.

"Seven" I said.

She stiffened quickly. Her eyes cold and empty. Hiding something to protect someone other than herself. I don't know how I know that.

I was going to figure it out.

Kristina I WILL figure out what your hiding.
