Ten pov

Tomorrow it was mine and chenles birthday. Yuta and his brothers were making a big deal about it and i sat on the sofa as they all bickered and argued about a party.

My dad came through the front door and they all stopped arguing. I stood up
Me - welcome home father.
He nodded his head walking through to the kitchen.
Yuta - ten we are going. Good luck.
I saw them off and walked into the kitchen.
Me- dad did you have a good day at work?
Dad-  yes son. Today we tortured a spy we caught.
Me - oh...
Mom- honey. He's about to eat his tea. Talk about it after tea.
Dad- he's going to be taking it over anyway. He's got to get used to it.
Me - mom. Its fine I like hearing dad's stories over tea.
We sat at the dining table and I heard my phone ringing.
It stopped and started ringing again.
Dad - you can answer it son.
I fished it out of my pocket and answered renjuns call.
Me - hello?
Renjun- is your dad there ? My dad wants to talk to him.
Me - dad. It's renjuns dad he wants to speak to you.
He took my phone and got up after a second.
Dad - ah yes. We should arrange a meeting with all of us.
He left and my mom started getting up
Me - mother ?
Mom- I'm not feeling too well son. I'll go uo for some rest.
I nodded and took the dishes.
Me - you can go mom.
She nodded and went upstairs.
How weird.
Dad returned my phone whilst I was doing the dishes and winwin rang me.
I put them on speaker.
Winwin- ten this isn't normal.
Me - what isn't?
Chenle - dad and mom have started acting weird since they talked
Me - same here. We was having dinner and my mom left saying she wasn't feeling well and father has gone straight up as well.
I pushed my headphone in a little bit more with my shoulder.
Renjun- leave them to tell us first. Dont pry on the matter it might not even to  do with us.
We all agreed and I felt my head spin a little bit.
Me - g...guys you still there ?
Renjun- yeah you okay ? You sound funny?
Me - I've just become really dizzy for no reason....
I wiped the sweat off my forehead.
Renjun- we will come over. Just go sit down for a little bit.
I heard a scream from upstairs and I dried my hands.
Me - mother !?
Winwin- what's going on? Did someone just scream?
I grabbed my phone running upstairs and i saw a group of men dragging my parents out of their rooms.
Me - dad ! Mom?
They looked towards me and I stepped back.
Mom - run you idiot !
Me - bring your dad please winwin...
I ended the call throwing my phone to the side. The man let go of my mother walking over to me and I pushed him against a door.
He grabbed my arms opening the door and the man let go off my dad following us into the spare room.
I heard banging on the door and my mom shouting.
Mom- not my little boy ! Please!
I was kicked. Punched. Thrown across the rooms when I finally got my hands on one of the men twisting his neck.
His body fell lifeless. I felt a great pain in my shoulders and generally just everywhere.
I heard more banging on the door and I felt glass smashing over me. This man was repetitive with his hits. I felt my nose bleeding and I grabbed a shard kf glass from the floor tackling this huge man to the floor.
I pressed the glass onto his neck and I Saw blood seep out.
The door opened and I looked towards it a sharp pain in my stomach and something against my neck. I was tossed to the side as the man bled out next to me.
Mom ran over and she held my hand putting her hands over my neck and my stomach.
Mom- you stupid boy why would you do that !?
My dad struggled to get over. Gosh he's 50 now.
Soon enough I felt my head become clear.
Mom- stay awake. An ambulance is on its way. Stay talking to me son.
Renjun and winwin kept touching my neck and putting things on it.
Me-what a good day to have doctors as friends.
Winwin- don't be silly I've got 3 years left yet.
Renjun- for all you know we could be killing you
Winwin- I think I got the artery though.
My dad was on the phone and chenle was helping my dad sit down.
Me - chenle you should work in a care home.
Dad - im not that old you little brat.
Mom- be nice honey! Don't stress him out.
Dad mumbled things and I felt myself slipping.

Winwin pov

Tens head fell to the side and his mother started crying more.
Dad - Son the paramedics are here.
Three paramedics came in.
Me - I've been able to clamp the bleeding inner and outer jugular vein with my fingers. Move him gently on the count of three.
1...2....3.
They packed the stomach wound and I followed with my hand still holding on the veins.
Paramedic- how did you manage to find both veins and clamp them?
Me - pure luck at this point. He needs blood when we get into the ambulance as well as oxygen.
He has a pneumothorax and requires a chest tube please administer it so he can breathe. He has a couple broken ribs that cannot be wrapped as of yet.
We got into the ambulance and he woke up a little. We set off and ten moved over to the side and I moved with him.
He was throwing up blood and he fell unconscious again.
Me - step on the gas please.
Soon enough we got to the hospital and Dr Qian was already waiting.
Kun- if it isn't my favourite intern. What have we got.?
Me- ten lee. 17 years old. Stab wound to the abdomen. I've had to clamp the internal and external jugular veins with my fingers. He was throwing uo blood on the way here. BP 150/90 heart rate dropping quickly. Paramedics administered blood and fluids.
Kun- do you have gloves on that hand.
Me- of course.
Kun- then you will have to Come into the or with me. Once I have sorted these veins you will assist me.
Me - im only a second year student...
Kun- your ready. Now let's get him in before he bleeds to death.
We moved quickly and kun quickly had Me free form holding his veins. Well not quickly. It was a few hours but it was quickly for the situation.
Kun- leave quickly and suit up.
I nodded and washed up a little.
I changed my mask and washed my arms and hands.
I stood at the opposite side of the table.
Kun- brother ?
Me - family friend.
Kun- ah... that kind of family ?
Me - yes doctor.
More Blood was put on and kun passed me the suture.
Kun- close him up and let's talk outside.
I nodded and he left.
