A New Moon

HoneyWhisp walked out the nursery after hearing a voice call over the camp. Her three large kits following her. LemonKit, the largest of her kits, talked excitedly to his litter mates. BeeKit looked sad, however, Honey never told her kits who will mentor them, so she suspected BeeKit thought she was going to be a warrior, not a medicine apprentice. They sat in the back of the group of cats forming to see what was happening. OceanStar and MossPaws sat on their designated rocks. OceanStar started to speak when all cats whispers and murmurs silenced out. "Tonight, on this full moon. We have an apprentice to be turned into a brave warrior. RockPaw, please stand up." RockPaw went up, as his mentor, NightSnarl, smiled. "RockPaw, you have taught your clan that you are a loyal and trustworthy Tom. However, do you promise to protect RiverClan, even if it costs you life?" RockPaw looked up, as he replied, "I do." OceanStar smiled "Then, RockPaw, you will now be known as RockClaws." RockClaws nodded smiling, going back towards his former mentor, NightSnarl. OceanStar continued. "Now, we have 3 kits that need to become apprentices." HoneyWhisp looked at her kits proudly. "LemonKit, BeeKit, and KoiKit, May you stand up?" LemonKit walked forward excitedly, KoiKit walked more slowly, a bit shy, BeeKit walked the slowest, looking at her mother, as Honey smiled at Bee. The three kits looked up at OceanStar, as he continued. "BeeKit, you shown me and MintLeaf that you prefer to help the injured then attack them. Therefore, I am glad to announce, BeePaw shall be our medicine cat apprentice." MintLeaf walked up to boop BeePaw, BeePaw smiled excitedly, booping them, as they walked towards a corner. Ocean continued. "KoiKit, you have a kind heart and will protect your clan even if it costs your life, therefore, I announce you KoiPaw, RobinFlight shall mentor you, to show you his forgiveness and stealth." KoiPaw booped RobinFlight, as they walked towards MintLeaf and BeePaw. Ocean looked at Lemon and smiled proudly. "LemonKit, you show that strength and power will provide to your clan greatly, therefore, your mentor shall be FoxFur, I believe you will do RiverClan well, LemonPaw." LemonPaw booped FoxFur, as the clan began to chant; "BeePaw! LemonPaw! KoiPaw!" HoneyWhisp got a lot of purrs and comforting compliments by other queens.
