Her POV

I read his intent and blocked the blow.

The clanking of swords can be heard in every corner of this room. I grip on my sword, as I swing my sword once again. He blocked my attack, making a loud clash enough to hurt my ears. I jumped back to make a space between us but without a second, he immediately launched an attack and hit the side of my head.

I swiftly swing my sword only to be blocked by him again. Trying to change the phased of this fight, I quickly change my stance, take a deep breath and relax my mind once again.

A week before...

"Stand straight! Greetings to the General!"

"Greetings to the General!"

I think the whole division should be here, well except for those soldiers that still under their treatment or on a mission. Everyone of us have received a message from the upper up for this magna testimonii.

A magna testimonii only happens when the upper ups will bring down the decision for an highly classified information, an S rank to SSS rank information.

General Robert Thoma Arguille, who leads a whole division on his own, is the one who's also responsible for this type of event.

This isn't an ordinary type of formal meeting. This is where the soldiers are being left under the sun for whole three hours. Not only that, we are not allowed to eat, drink, and even sit for that three long hours. Most soldiers under the division call this as, Mors Conventus, for the reason that this event could literally deliver us to the door of dead.

"First in foremost, I would like to congratulate all of you for proving to me that the soldiers, who's under my division, are strong enough to maintain your posture even being cook under the sun. You proved to me that our soldiers are strong physically, emotionally, and the most important — mentally. As I always say, Dulce periculum!"

"Dulce Periculum!"

"The second part of this meeting, covers the decision of the upper up. To those who do not know, an triple S rank information have been recently obtained."

Triple S rank!

Wouldn't that make them trained us more?

What's the importance of that?

"Ow man, can't they just shut up?" I said as I'm still trying to give my full attention to the speaker. Can't they just listen first before making some complain? Tsk.

"Don't be like that, Lumi. We both know that some of the soldiers here are newly recruited." Keith stated, but he's clearly irritated as well.

"Amen to that Lieutenant Keith Morden Adramelech. I'll shut. my. mouth." I said as I gestured to zip my mouth.

"You really know how to pissed someone, aren't you?" he said but he's looking at me this time

"Amen again Lieutenant Keith Morden Adramelech, that's my hidden talent you know?" I look at him and blink my eyes a multiple times that only made him laugh.

"That's the most worthless talent I've ever seen in my whole life!" still laughing and because of this the soldiers who's in charge of peace and order gave us a warning to keep quiet. "And by the way, stop calling me by my full name, will you? It's disgusting!"

"Yup, same as your face" I said as I wear a smug look at my face.

He was about to say something when the General speak again.
