Chapter 1

" Rachel common lets get going, it's a very long drive" my mom yelled from downstairs

We were moving to North Carolina. Yay!! (Note the sarcasm) School had just ended here in Vancouver and we were leaving to spend the summer there so we could get used to the area and such before school started in the fall.

I went downstairs, jumped in the car and looked at the house knowing that I probably won't ever see it again. We drove off and started to North Carolina. It was gonna take us like 4 days to get there but whatever I kinda like road trips.

Okay so now lemme tell you a little about myself. I have long straight dark brown hair that goes to about my belly button, I have deep dark brown eyes and I'm just barely 5'6. I guess I'm not really that short haha. Oh and I'm turning 16 this summer. My brother Liam is going to go to college in North Carolina since he just graduated high school and is 18 almost 19. We were really close and told each other everything.

4 days past by actually really quickly and we made it to our new house. All of our stuff was here already because my dad had left a few days earlier and moved all the furniture and stuff in. I went upstairs and picked out a room for myself and fell fast asleep.

The next morning I awoke and looked outside my window... Wow! It was really beautiful here.

I went in the bathroom and had a nice long relaxing shower. I straightened my hair, like I usually always do and put on a little mascara. I don't really wear much makeup, I already have nice soft clear skin and long eyelashes and besides, I prefer a more natural look. I put on my bluish jean shorts, a black vans muscle shirt and just my black vans.

I went downstairs for some breakfast. Guess what I was having? Cereal that's right! Yeah, I was too lazy to make anything and my parents had already left for work.

Liam and I have decided to go on an adventure and explore our new neighbourhood.

It was about 12:30 when we left the house. We made our way to a park, there were basketball hoops, a beach, some swings and a playground (obviously). We chilled for awhile then we decided to go get some frozen yogurt.

We went to the mall, ate some frozen yogurt deliciousness and since we were there we went shopping. I love shopping!! By 5 I had already bought like 2 pairs of vans and converse, a couple of shirts and shorts and a nice sweater that said pink on the front. Liam wanted to leave so we went back home.

A couple days later, I was walking down the street just texting my friend Kyla back in Vancouver then suddenly I bashed into something... Someone.

"Omg I'm so sor-" I said looking up then paused as his bright, gorgeous blue eyes stared at me. Butterflies scattered through my body.

We stared at each other for a second "I'm Nash" he said while breaking the silence. "I'm Rachel" I said and started
to blush. Oh jeez, I hope he didn't notice.

"You new around here?" He questioned. "Um, yeah I just moved here from Vancouver recently" I quickly responded. Holy Hotness!!
"Canadian, eh?" He smirked. Holy shit his smile!! "Haha yep. Maybe I'll see you around?" I laughed. "Sure thing" he smiled and we both went on our way.
