Avani stared at herself in the mirror the dress made her look phenomenol and beautiful yet she didn't feel like that at all. It had different shades that sparkled sometimes it looked pink , sometimes it looked pink and sometimes it wa sa mix of both n
Her hair were tied up with a few strands Loose. She let out a breath and grabbed her clutch and walked out of the her hotel room and went in the lift all the while counting in her head to keep herself calm. She walked strolled out of the hotel with her head high and a confident smile , she got in the uber and left for the place where the ball was held.

She stared around the ridiculous extravagant decoration and preparation for the ball. Everyone was dressed in different dresses made by famous designers. Every man was in a black tux and trying to impersonate Lucifer as if to trying to let the world know this is what rules hell.
Avani snorted as she wondered what the actual devil might think of this because he may be actually sitting somewhere in his office working like the workaholic he is. She didn't know what made her wonder about him , maybe it was the devil wears Armani thing or the hell whatever it may have been but his thoughts had already dampened her mood. She shook her head as a wave of sadness hi her. Se missed him even after every lie and betrayal she did miss him. And she couldn't get over how he would always look at her in every crowded room they went in , he'd look out for heer everywhere and make sure she felt like she belonged.
She wasn't sure how she was going to get over this sadness.
She took a deep breathe and walked outside with a smile plastered on her face but her eyes were glossy .
Her every step felt like a big task , every step felt heavier as she walked ahead.
She stared at the empty eyes fake smiles everyone faked here , and she chuckled sadly as she realised everyone here looked happy yet she could see how msierable they were .
She went towards a corner of the ballroom and stood there observing everyone.
