'I'm sorry Ell.'

'Don't say you're sorry when you're not!' Ella snapped at him.

'But I am I truly am,' tears were streaming down his face.

'Then why would you do this?'

'It's the best, it really is. What we had was no good for both of us,' he looked down at his feet.

'But why? If we want this we can do it, we just need to try a little harder,' Ella pleaded.

'It doesn't work, we've tried enough. If we continue this it'll only get worse.'

Ella broke down at his words. She sobbed and sobbed.

'I'm sorry Ell, I can't do this anymore. I'm sorry for starting this. I'm sorry for falling in love with you. It's all my fault. I should've known it wouldn't work between us, not after everything. I hope you find someone who loves you for everything you are,' He broke down too.

He couldn't handle this. Not anymore. Not after everything. Not without her.

'But I don't want someone else. I want you, I love you. Only you.'

'I'm not good for you. Find someone who loves you and cares about you. Someone who can take care of you.'

'I don't need anyone to take care of me!'

'You need someone who can comfort you. Someone who makes you feel like home. Someone who can help you. Someone who doesn't live in the past. Someone who wants to build a future with you. Someone who can give you the happy ending you deserve.'

'I don't want them. I want you.'

'Please stop making this harder than it already is. You know I love you too.'

'If you love me, then why would you do this?'

'I do this because I love you. I don't deserve you. Please don't be upset about me. Find your happy ending. Keep going. Move on. Do it for me, Please.'

He looked up to her. He grabbed her hand and pulled her up. Still holding her hand, he walked with her to the living room. He opened the door and saw their friends. They looked up at sound of the door opening. Two of them walked to them, one embraced Ella. The other brought him home.
