Harry woke slowly to the sound of soft humming. Whoever it was had a beautiful voice and he kept still for a long time with his eyes closed just listening to the music. Eventually though, he had to move and reluctantly with a sigh of regret he opened his eyes and sat up. As he had feared, the humming immediately stopped.

"How do you feel?" Draco asked, looking up from the sketchpad on his lap.

"You have a great voice Malfoy," Harry said in reply, standing up and stretching out his arms.

After a moment of silence, Draco replied: "Thank you,", both startled and touched at the praise. "Sleep well?" he asked again.

"Yeah, really well actually." The brunette replied bemused, walking into his room to use the bathroom. Upon seeing the new decor, he was pleased and Draco saw the genuine smile on his face. The room was much better. The furniture was all done in a light-coloured wood and the duvet cover and curtains were in different shades of soft blue and green.

"Thank you for doing that, it looks so much better." Harry said, mirroring his movements from that morning - though in a much calmer manner - as he moved back into the sitting room.

"You're welcome, Harry." Draco said the last as a question, trying to gauge the mood of the other. Harry didn't say anything for a moment, he stared at the boy and seemed to be contemplating something heavy.

"Okay, Draco" he finally said with a small nod. And the blonde felt something lift inside him, he felt the acceptance behind the gesture and couldn't help let a small satisfied smile play across his face, before letting his eyes fall back to the sketchbook across his lap. The two boys sat in comfortable silence for a time, one lost in his thoughts and the other doing his best to keep his eyes firmly to himself rather than let them wander over to the other.

"What time is it anyways?" Harry interrupted the silence, having woken from his thoughts.

"About 11:30ish, you've been asleep for about an hour or so, in any case and it's almost lunchtime."

"Oh, sorry-"

"Don't worry about it, you clearly needed it. But now you are awake, do you want to talk some more?"

"Probably a good idea yeah, oh! What classes did you sign up for?"

Draco was momentarily startled by the unexpected question, thinking that Harry would questions about their bond or Veela in general, but answered it anyway. "Ancient Runes, Arithmancy, Charms, Defence, Potions, Transfiguration, Law and Healing."

"Hah! Yes, this is brilliant! "Harry exclaimed, doing a victory dance around the room.

"What's brilliant? Why're you dancing??"

"You mate, have just got me into Snape's Potions class, and there is nothing he can do about it, haha!" Harry crowed, still jumping around the room. Draco stared at Harry before collapsing in his seat, howling with laughter.

"I take it you didn't get the necessary O.W.L.s then?" he asked once he got himself under control.

"Nope. I got an O in the practical and an E in the theory part, and thus Snape refused to accept me, despite McGonagall pestering him about it. I thought l'd have to learn that subject on my own, but thanks to you I won't have to, I could kiss you!" The brunette suddenly blushed and stopped jumping around, embarrassed at his outburst.

"Glad to be of service," Draco chuckled, pleased to see his mate so happy and secretly hoping the other boy would follow through with his declaration, even if he was surprised at how much he was actually hoping Harry would kiss him.

"You realise that Uncle Severus might just kick me out of class so he can get rid of you? Especially if you can't keep up?"

"He would definitely do that, so you better tell your Housemates to stop sabotaging my potions hey?" Harry asked sweetly, giving Draco a pointed look. "Besides, I've been reading loads about potions this summer, and I think I have a better understanding of the basics now. I just need to do the summer assignments and he can have no reason to kick us out." Harry said reaching for his bag which held spare parchment and quills, and heading for his room for his potion's books. Draco pouted slightly, but brightened when he returned bringing his books with him, making it clear he would start the assignment once they'd finished their conversation.
