The Unknown Disaster: A Pokemon Adventure <CONTINUED BY TORCHICKITTEN>

Chapter 1 :The Beginning

It was a beautiful sunny day in the forest. The pidgey were flying high in the sky, the rattata were playing in the fields, and three friends were picking berries together. Ivy, a cute female bulbasaur, was taking a break in a flower bed shaded by a tree growing sideways on a rock wall, while Hydro and Flare (a squirtle and charmander, both male) picked berries from the bushes. It was a very peaceful afternoon. Then, the ground shook, and the effects of the beautiful day suddenly ended as all of the Pokémon in the forest had fear struck into their hearts. As the ground shook, Flare lost his balance and fell along with the many berries he was carrying. After about fifteen seconds, the earthquake finally ended, and the Pokemon could regain their balance.

"What was that?" Asked Ivy from across the pasture.

"Earthquake I think." Replied Flare, so quiet that he could be speaking in a loud whisper.

"That's weird, I don't think we've ever gotten an earthquake before." Said Hydro.

Then the aftershock shook the ground, managing to release the tree from the hill that it's roots were dug into, almost landing on Ivy, when Hydro pushes her out of the way.

"That was close!" Said Hydro, but Ivy didn't respond. She looked scared, and she was staring right over Hydro's shoulder. He looked behind him, and couldn't believe his eyes.

There was a Pokemon in the sky attacking the forest with its swift attack. They ran for their lives trying to flee from the powerful levitating pokemon, then they realized that there was another Pokemon in the sky, battling it.

"It's our king! It's Mew!" Cried a young oddish from across the clearing.

They all looked up, and watched the amazing battle between the legendary and mystery Pokemon. Mew used a move that looked like hydro cannon, then the mystery Pokemon used recover. Mew then used what appeared to be sleep powder, and the mystery Pokemon fell into a deep sleep and landed on the berry bush that Hydro and Flare were harvesting earlier. Mew then put the mystery Pokemon in a bubble to examine the Pokemon. Flare then walked over to the bubble to get a better look.

"Do you know what Pokemon he is?" Asked Flare, in his usual quiet voice.

"I don't believe that I do young one." Replied Mew, in a majestic yet cute voice.

All of the Pokemon in the clearing went into a long silence, then they noticed that Mew was looking at the three friends with a very serious look.

"Ivy, Hydro, Flare... come with me." Mew protested, then floated away, using his psychic powers to levitate the bubble with the mystery Pokemon, and make it follow.

The three rare Pokemon trailed closely behind Mew wondering what they were needed for until they got to their destination, Cerulean city. Mew then used teleport and they all found themselves in front of Cerulean cave. They walked inside, and Mew set the bubble in an old avalanche of small rocks.

"I need you three to listen to me very closely..." Mew calmly muttered, "I don't want this Pokemon to be a threat to our community, and I'm not sure what is upsetting him, so please... I need all three of you to discover who he is and what is wrong."

"How come you can't go?" Asked Hydro, unaware of his bratty tone.

"I must look over the bubble keeping this mystery Pokemon contained, if i don't, the bubble will disappear, and the Pokemon inside will continue the destruction of the forest, region, then eventually the world. "Mew exclaimed. "I had a vision of this about a week ago, and I told no one, but you three were in it, and together you have types that can overcome almost any battle."

"Let's do it!" Yells Hydro, without discussing it with his friends.

"A good adventure is always good for the heart." Explains Ivy.

"I... guess it could be fun." Said Flare.

"Great, you three should say goodbye to your loved ones, you probably won't be able to see them for a while. Meet me here at sundown and I will teleport you to the easiest route to start the journey." Explains Mew.

"Where is that?" Asks Ivy.

"Pallet town." Replies Mew.

Back in the forest, Ivy, Hydro, and Flare, explained what was happening and said their goodbyes to their friends and family. They had no idea how long they would be gone, but they knew that as long as they were together, that they would be okay. Once the sky turned the shade of orange that announces sunset, the three friends stood in a line in front of Cerulean cave. They were all thinking of what things are like outside of home. They stepped inside together, and continued walking in a line, through the puddles of water, and up the rock slope to confront Mew. He already looked tired from keeping the bubble sturdy, but he teleported them with a smile on his face and whispered "good luck".

They appeared in Pallet town, and looked at each other with amusement when they found themselves somewhere new, on an adventure, with the chance to meet all new Pokemon and discover all new things.
