I put down my phone and look over at Colby still editing videos and sigh. "Colby I've been waiting for hours" I whine. "This is important babe" he doesn't even look away from the computer.
"Whatever" I sigh and continue to scroll endlessly on my phone.
"Babe I'm sorry this is really important" he says. "Whatever Colby" I get up and walk out and go into my room shutting the door behind me.
I hear Colby knock on the door. "Baby" he calls out to me. "No go edit it's important" I roll my eyes and get in bed. I cover up in my blankets and turn on a movie.
Colby walks in slowly and looks at me. I look at him with a straight face then back at the TV. "Baby" he walks over to my bed after shutting the door.
I continue to watch the movie without saying anything. "Don't ignore me" he groans. "Go edit" I sigh.
He gets under my blankets and lays down next to me. I lay my head on his chest and he wraps his arm around my lower back.
"I'm sorry for working so much baby" he whispers. I just watch the movie.
"Don't ignore me baby" he looks at me. I close my eyes and pretend I'm sleeping. "Oh sorry" he says. I hide my smile and eventually I actually do fall asleep.
Colby's POV
I scratch her back while she sleeps and continue watching the movie, making sure it's not too loud to wake her up.
She's so cute when she sleeps. So peaceful, listening to her breath is so soothing.
