Edrics POV
:Outside emperor castle:
"Ok here's the plan. Me amity and Luz will go into the emperor castle and Gus and willow you guys stay out here and fight off any scout's so this can be our escape root."I said to everyone and they all nodded in response.
I turned around to follow amity and Luz who were already trying to find a way in "w-what about me?" I turned around to see emira looking at me
"Oh uh I guess you should come with me mittens and Luz we might need two illusions"I said unsure of my words. Emira looked at me gave a smile smile then joined amity and Luz who were on there brooms deciding to fly up threw the windows in joined them also getting on my staff
"Why don't we check all the windows first maybe we can spot hunter threw them."Luz said and every one nodded in agreement
I was on the fourth window when I saw someone lumped on the floor in some sort of bedroom I broke open the window and used my illusion magic to make a light cause the room was very dark. I looked down to see a unimaginable sight hunter was laying on the floor barley concious he had multiple wounds on his arms ,shoulder,left leg a big gache going threw his stomach and the scar on his cheek was reopened.
"HUNTER!"I yelled while kneeling down to help sit him up
"E-edric? What ar-are you doing here...?"he said leaving out grunts of pain from being moved
"I-we came to safe you clearly not soon enough I'm so sorry hunter i-" hunter intrupted my rant
"She edric you have to get o-out of here-"hunter said
"What no! If I leave you here belos will kill you!"I said a few tears streaming down my face.
"IF YOU STAY HE WILL KILL YOU!I CANT LET THAT HAPPEN EDRIC!YOU MATTER TO MUCH!!" Hunter snapped tears going down his face the tears mixing with his blood
"I-i can't do that hunter..."I said looking down
"Why not edric it's not like I'm important I'm just useless and not worth savi-!" Before hunter could finish his sentence I connected our lips he tensed at first then relaxed into a kissed me back
I pulled away slowly and looked at hunter
"That's why." I stated looking at hunter
"So will you come with me?" I asked again
Hunter looked up at me and didn't say anything but he did nod and I gave him a soft smile. Just then the others turned up at the window with shocked faces from seeing the condition hunter was in. I helped hunter get on my staff and we flew down to the others who were also shocked upon seeing hunter. Just then a bunch of scouts started running towards us
"We don't have time to fight them! Hunters injuries need attention right now!"just as Luz finished her sentence hunter passed out and I tightened my grip on him so he wouldn't fall "your right" as I said that I twirled my finger in the air and made an illusion that made us all invisible.
When we all arrived back at the owl house I placed hunter on the couch and emira and Luz immediately started helping him emira with her healing magic and Luz with her make shift first aid kit.
It was really late now I checked my scroll and it was 2am everyone else went to bed but I stayed in the living room to watch hunter. I was about to doze of when I heard hunter groning and sitting up.
"Hunter your awake!"I yelled jumping up and hugging Him
"Edric?"
