Tara carpenter was a ordinary girl. She was a perfect girl. She was a straight A student and top of her class. Tara got everything she ever wanted except one thing. A significant other.

Tara begged her parents all the time to allow her to date but they wouldn't allow it because they thought it would mess up her life. Tara understood they were just trying to protect their baby but they needed to realize she was gonna be a adult one day.

Tara stopped begging eventually and focused on her studies. Her friends would study with her but they didn't get the greatest grades ever. Times flying by and now it's the first day of sophomore year.

The friend group arrives to school and sat down together before the first bell of the year rang. "Did you hear there's a new kid" mindy says trying to start up a conversation with someone. Tara turns towards her "Yeah i hope i have a class with her". The bell finally rings and everyone splits up to head to their first classes.

Tara goes through her first few classes with ease. She got to history class and sat in the back corner. A girl sits in at the table in front of her. She couldn't see her face so she couldn't tell if it was the new kid or not.

30 minutes pass and the girl in front of tara turns around towards her. Tara get butterflies almost instantly. "Do you have a extra pencil." she asks with a soft voice. Tara didn't respond for a second because she was lost in the girls dark brown eyes.

It's took her a minute to snap out of the tranz. "Oh yeah sorry" tara says as she was handing the pencil to her. As the girl was taking the pencil from tara's hands he fingers touched tara's which made tara turn away and blush.

It's the end of her first day. She gets home and heads up to her room. Tara calls the gc with all her friends in it. After a little while of talking she asks what the new girls name is. "Her name is amber freeman." chad says. "thank you" tara says then hangs up. She goes into snap and searches up amber freeman. She finds her account and adds her.
