Kayla's Pov

I was woken up by the sunlight, looking at the clock I knew it was         1 p.m.

'I must have been exhausted yesterday if I slept till this late, but who cares today is Saturday that means no school and it is my only free day where I don't have private lessons or are forced to study.' stretching my body i was headed to the bathroom to wash my face.

After washing it and feeling refreshed I dried my hands off realising that I am missing something.

'Right! I can't forget to take my arm watch with me or I will forget the time and will be outside until Sunday if I am not careful. I don't want to risk getting another beating from Ayame.' placing the watch on my wrist I was headed to the direction of my door to eat breakfast.

As I was closing the door...

"Wait!! My bracelet, how could I forget to wear it!!" slamming the almost closed door open again I reached for my jacket.

'Weird...I was sure I put it in here and didn't take it out yesterday.' giving up on my jacket I looked around my room.

I couldn't find it.

'That is not possible I am sure it was in my jacket and I flipped my room upside down. It can only be here in this room, when I am not wearing it, but it isn't.' trying to calm myself down I took a deep breath and sat on the floor.

'Allright don't panic think about it throughly. Yesterday I was in school where I had to take it off putting it into the pocket of my jacket, then after school I walked my usual detour back home passing by the hotel and...' then it hit me.

'Could it be I lost it when I bumped into the man! But that means it definitely lays on the ground where everyone passing by can take it!' thinking about the worst case scenario I jumped up to my feet, changing into my outdoor clothes, taking a sandwich prepared by our cook I stormed off to the entrance of the Tres Spades Hotel.

At the hotel entrance

I looked everywhere every bush, every corner, but i couldn't find it.

'No, no, no, no, no, NO! HOW CAN YOU LOSE GRANDMA'S BRACELET, YOU IDIOT!' while insulting myself a thought came to my mind.

'The reception desk! Maybe someone left it there after they found it in front of the hote!' with the last bit of hope that I have I went inside the hotel stopping in my tracks.

'Wow...I always saw it only from the outside and found it really cool but the inside is...' not knowing how to put it into words I just stood there gazing at the many designs this hotel showed me.

Perfect white porcelain railing with many musters on it, luxurious looking couches and more. To top it off it had a really high ceiling with the most beautiful chandelier i saw in my whole life.

After admiring the hotels insides definitely to long, I almost forgot why I was in here in the first place.
Looking around i found the reception desk and walked over to it.

"Excuse me, but i have a question. Did by chance someone leave a blue bracelet with a green stone here?" I asked hoping it was here

"A blue bracelet with a green stone..." she repeated what I said and made a phone call to the 'lost and found' station of the hotel.

"I'm sorry, but nothing like that was left with us." she said after finishing the call and with that crushing my whole hope of ever seeing it again.
I still thanked her and she returned to her work.

'Great, just my luck how could I louse it in the first place, the only thing left for me  from my grandma, the only one ever I considered my family.' sighing out loud i wanted to leave the hotel but a hand placed on my shoulder stopped me.

Turning around I saw the man with the light brown hair and the hat from yesterday.

"We meet again, little lady." he said with a smile on his face.

"Ah, you are the kind man who helped me yesterday! Thank you again, sir." bowing to him I thanked him.

"You don't need to thank me I just helped a little lady in need and I want to ask you kindly if you could drop this whole sir-thing, it maked me feel so old, just call me Baba. And if i may ask, what is the little lady doing here all by herself looking so down?" he asked his smile changing into a 'worried' look.

'His worried face looks fake to me, but who cares maybe he saw my bracelet yesterday!' with new hope flickering inside me I told him why I was here.
"I...well yesterday I lost something important to me, sir- I mean Mister Baba. It was a blue bracelet with a jade stone attached to it. I think I lost it when I bumped into that man who was with you yesterday."

Baba looking away and thinking about what I just said, turned back to me with a big smile.

"Well little lady I think I can be of help to you again. Please this way." he said as he gestured to follow him. He lead me to a elevator with a sign saying 'penthouse-suite' he opened the doors with a card and stepped inside. I followed shortly after him.

I know never trust strangers, but he is a kind stranger that has only helped me till now and he tries to help me again.

'But the only question I have is:
Who is he to have a card for the penthouse-suite of an incredible hotel like the Tres Spades.' my thoughts ended with the sound of the doors opening. Baba of course leaves it first entering a big room with only stairs leading up to a next floor and a massive TV on the wall, so big tht I would look like a fly next to it.
The last things in the room are comfy looking couches, sitting on them are four m-

"Yo Baba what took you so long! For a moment I thought you weren't coming!" shouted a young sounding  happy man voice to Baba, not noticing me behind him.

"Sorry, sorry, but I stumbled upon something that would bring fun to Eisuke." Baba said while stepping aside revealing me to the four men.

Everyone of them is staring at me with different expressions.

Eisuke is looking at me with the same cold and intense stare like yesterday and again I can't look away from him, as if something tells me not to look away from him.

'I feel like I walked right into the lions lair...'

There's no going back now.
