Would anyone care, would anyone cry
If I finally stepped off of this ledge tonight?
Would anything change, would you all be just fine?
'Cause I need a reason to not throw the fight
It just might save my lifeLonny's POV
I was in my room looking at my bass deciding if I want to pick it up and play it. I decided not to and just go to bed without eating any dinner. In the middle of the night, I heard my mom slam the front door shut and drive off into the night. After hours of her being gone, I hear police knocking on my front door. So I get up from bed to go open the door to see two officers standing there. "Hello, is there something wrong?" I asked as I let them into the living room of our apartment. "Are you Lonny Charles Eagleton?" An officer asked as I stood there shaking worried about my mom. "I am. Is there something going on?" I asked as they sat me down on the couch. "Mr. Eagleton we're sorry for your loss." One of the officers spoke as I brought my knees up to my chest and sobbed. "Thank you, officers have a wonderful rest of your night." I whimpered as they hugged me. "You too call a friend to stay with you." They offered as I nodded in agreement. "I will. Take care!" I said as they left my apartment. Once they left I locked the door and scanned the living room one last time before going back to my room and calling someone. When I walked into my room I heard banging on my front door. 'Oh great. People are here to harass me' I thought before unlocking the door and opening it to see Andy standing there. "Something I can help you guys with?" I interrogated Andy and his bandmates all stood there looking at me. "I am looking for a Lonny Eagleton," Andy said as I cleared my throat before speaking. "I am him!" I spoke as I let them into my apartment. "Lonny don't hide from us. We just want to help you," Ashley said as I turned around wiping my tears off my face. I lead them to the couches in the living room. "My mom and I got into a huge argument and my last words were 'I hate you!' Now she is dead it's my fault," I said sitting down in a chair as they were sitting on my couch. "Lonny listens to me it is not your fault that she died. She loves you very much for who you are and what you want to try and achieve," Jake spoke as I nodded in response to what Jake was saying. I must have fallen asleep in a chair because I found myself in my bed with strong arms wrapped around my waist. "Good Morning Sunshine!" Jake said as I walked out of my room to find myself shirtless. "Good Morning!" I said as Jake looked at me with a worried look on his face.
