"What do you mean 'he was successful'?" Oh no... I've backed myself into a corner now.
"Did the bounty tell you why you were supposed to be after him?"
"Necromancy, what else?"
"Well, he had another goal," I said, as I attempted to piece the Star back together. It was splintered into a bunch of pieces, breaking down because of Mayln's soul being inside it. It was also darker than pictures I had seen before. "He wanted to house his soul in Azura's Star, effectively making him immortal."
"And you know this how?" I sighed. I had no choice now.
"I didn't come to this fort because of the college, I came here, more specifically, to Skyrim, to study the Daedra."
"Why do you study the Daedra? Aren't they evil?"
"I study them because they are interesting, and because I believe if we know more about them, they will not be as dangerous as they are believed to be. I was sent here by a priestess of Azura to find Azura's Star. I did not know it would be broken." I gave up after a few tries. Julius looked at me in disbelief. I pulled my lips tight. He sighed, and threw his arms up in the air.
"You are insane."
"Am I insane, or are you basic?" His mouth drops in offense. I laugh.
"Come on, we need to get back to Winterhold."
"I need to cash in my bounty, but afterwards I guess we can. But don't think me agreeing means you're giving out the orders around here!" I gripped onto the ladder that went outside, and quickly made my way to fresh air.
Monisha this, Monisha that. That's all you've been thinking about lately.
Shut the hell up.
"What about me?" I ask the boys. Throughout the arguing, I would hear Sheo teasing Jyggalag about me, but I never understood it.
You better not tell her...
Ohohoho! Are you refusing to admit it?
No I'm not!
Then tell her yourself.
No I will not!
I was still majorly confused.
"Neither of you-"
Jyggalag may have a crush on you~!
I instantly stopped scribbling in my notebook, feeling my face flush.
Ohohoho! This is interesting~!
I could hear Jyggalag moan out of embarrassment. I buried my face in my dress, also out of embarrassment.
"Are you OK?" It was Julius's voice. I looked up, praying my face wasn't red still.
And who said you were any different? The cackling from Sheo instantly stopped.
"Excuse me for a second Julius," I said, quickly speeding off to privacy.
"OK, I want some answers. What do either of you mean by that?" I demanded.
What else could we mean Monisha? I took a deep breath.
"OK, I... need some time to think about this." I couldn't control the shaking from the knowledge I gained. This was an... interesting revelation. My mind was racing. I messily scribbled down what I learned, and went back to Julius.
