*Missed call on my work phone*
The next day (June 17)
I went out of the car with my kids adn kissed them goodbye and told them I loved them. I am a little worried that the killer is going to hurt them, if he knows about this, it will be bad. When I came to my car after dropping them off, I called the dispatcher up.
Sorry, I was asleep when you called. What's up? I asked.
There is another body. It's at 528 W 39th ST. It is right beside the entrance. Said the dispatcher.
Thanks, I'm on my way. I said. When I got there, I see a lady laying upon a canvas, it seemed like it was her portrait, but a little hard to see as it was blood all over it, and her head was smashed in it. When I walked closer to the bodym I see that it is a pintbrush in her neck, it is on the left side. I moved the heaf to see the right side and it was another wound. She has been stabbed two times. I took out the paintbrush and put it in an evidence bag. After that, I searched her for an ID and I found it in her bra. I felt like a creep when I took it out. The victim is Alice Young, age 21. Before I left the crime scene I went in the museum and asked the worker if there is more paintings that Alice made. He pointed me to a whole section. Art is not my thing, so for me, most of these paintings did not make any sence.
I went back to the station and I searched Alice Young up on the internet. There was a lot of people talking about her, and her paintings. How popular the portrait was and it would be held an auction at the museum. There were a lot of different portraits of her everyone with their own unice touch, it was also from other painters as well. I checked her up in the police files. She lived with her parents over at 3712 Farragut Rf East Flatbush, Brooklyn, NY. I took a quick lunch break before I went there. I knocked on the door, and it took some time before someone came to the door.
I'm officer Michaelson. I'm here to talk to you about your daughter Alice Young. I said.
Where is she? Is she okay? She didn't come home last night. She said.
I'm sorry to say this but I'm sorry for your loss, do you mind answering some of my questions? I said.
Oh, no. Not my baby. She yelled and started to cry.Her husband came and checked on what was going on, and he held around her.
We can talk officer, but is it okay that we do it out here? We are in the middle of renovating the house. The dad said.
Yes that is okay for me. Do you know if anyone wanted to hurt her or wished her dead? I asked.
She had some frineds, but most of them were jealous of her, because her art was good. She even bought us a new house, so that's why we are renevating this one. He said.
Do you know if any of her friends wanted her dead? Did she recently change her behaviour in any way? I asked.
She was a bit freaked out, because she was saying this man was following her and being really creepy, she went to the cops with it. Turned out some of her friends were pulling a prank on her. The dad said.
Okay, do you know who these friends are? I asked.
One girl is named Brielle Hamilton. She lives two houses down on the right. The dad said.
Thanks for the help guys. Here is my card if you guys come up with anything, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask. I said.I walked to the house and knocked on the door and said "Police open up" , just because sometimes it takes too long. There was this young lady who opened up the door.
How can I help you officer. She asked.
Are you Brielle Hamilton? I asked.
Yes, this is she. Is everything okay? She asked.
I'm here to talk to you about the little prank you pulled on Alice Young. I said.
Oh, well, you know. It wasn't meant to hurt her or scare her. She always pulled stunts like that on us before, and we just wanted to take revenge, that's all. She said.
All right. Is there anyone you could think of that would want to hurt her or wished her dead? I asked.
No ser. Me and Alice always fought, but we made up again after some hours. I was mostly jealous of her 'cause she always got the good guy because she is pretty, and her art was amazing. But I wouldn't want anything to happen to her. I can't see myself without her. We are looking at a house and everything. She said.
I'm sorry to say this Brielle. Alice is dead. She has been killed and I'm sorry for loss. I said.
Omg no, are you serious? I just saw her this morning. She said as her eyes got watery.
Where did you see her? I asked.
She was about to go to the museum with her last portrait. she was at the park that is ten minutes away. We even hugged and I wished her luck. She said.
Did you notive anyone looking or acting strange? I asked.
No. I didn't see anything. I'm sorry officer. She said.
Well, if you come up with anything here is my card, and if tou have any questions, feel free to ask. I said.
Goodbye, and thanks for telling me. She said and game me a little smile.
No problem, and again I'm truly sorry for your loss. I said and smiled back. So, what we know now is that the guy is after people that has a lot of friends, popular or known. This might help me get the next victim. Well I do not get my hopes up, because I am nitynine precent sure that I will not be able to do so. I went to the station and put Alices case with the rest of the files and went home to eat than sleep.
