As Eddie pulled up in his car and i got in i couldnt help but wonder about Steve.
"Whats the matter Y/N?"
"Nothing."
"Are you sure?"
"Mhm"
"Alright... hey im gonna be right back" he said simply and got out of the car

Eddies pov

I knew he was lying about being ok. But i didnt wanna get into it, I just wanted to check in on Steve.
I knocked on his door and waited. Steve answered the door.
"Damn Harrington not even a shirt or anything?" I joked
"Well you kinda caught me putting sunscreen on so"
I bit my lip slightly "just checking in on you man. Y/N and i are headed to get costumes for a renaissance fair you wanna come with Stevie?~" I winked.
Steve shrugged "i guess... i just dont wanna third wheel anything"
"Third wheel? As if wed third wheel the second sexiest man alive."
"Second?"
"Sorry man Zac Efron has to be number one"
Steve slightly smiled and rolled his eyes "Now put on a shirt and lets go big boy" I walked out to the car again.

No ones pov

Eddie got into the car and looked at Y/N. He tilted his head. "Can i ask you a question?"
"Hm?"
"You are a boy right? Not that it matters or anything"
Y/N nodded. "I mean kind of."
"Kind of?"
"Yeah. See i um-" y/n lifted their shirt to show the scarring from their top surgery. "But the thing is, i dont want to be a boy, i just feel like a boy but only sometimes, other times I feel like im more feminine, or like nonbinary"
Eddie nodded slightly "so kinda just everywhere huh?"
Y/n nodded
"So are you planning on having bottom surgery too?"
"No, i am taking testosterone though"
Eddie nodded "thanks for being comfy enough to tell me"
Y/N again nodded and smiled feeling their face heat up a little.
Steve climed into the back seat and they drove off to the store.

Eddie stopped the car and got out once they arrived and opened the door for Steve.
Y/N hopped out of the car and they all went inside
They looked around to see if there was any costumes
"I think if anything we can buy costumes from the fair itll just be more expensive"
Steve glanced at Eddies back and grabbed the handkerchief "whats this for this isnt the 80s munson"
"Ill have you know it was a thing long before the 80s Harrington. Its just to let people know whats on the table" he grabbed it back giving a soft wink.
Steve turned pink and watched him catch up to Y/N.

Steve caught up with them after and Eddie shrugged "im not seeing any costumes here"
"Me either"
Steve shrugged "I mean considering its july i dont think theyd have costumes"
Eddie shrugged "we tried. We'll just either put something together or see costumes there"
Y/N nodded "sounds fun"
"But in the meantime you guys wanna like go back to my house or something i got spaghetti-os."
They laughed.
Steve gave a soft shrug "i guess so"
Y/N nodded "Yeah we can go and watch movies or something"
