On our way to Mom's house I look out the window. We pass another cemetery. I see another ghost except it isn't the ones I've been seeing it's a much older looking one. Like in his late 50's or early 60's. He looks at me, like directly in the eyes. I faint because I realize half his face is gone and he had a brutal death. I try hard to keep the flashback from coming but I fail.

********Flashback********

 "Pay up, Old Man!"

"I told you, I'll have to pay you back next week."

"We don't have until next week."

"Please, just extend it a bit. Please..."

"Fine. You have until tomorrow. Come on guys let's go."

They leave the old man's house. The old man goes to a safe and opens it. He doesn't have enough money to pay off those guys.

"Ellen, I can't pay them off!!"

"What do you mean you can't pay them off?!?! How much do they want?"

"They want 3,450 dollars. They've tripled it, this year."

"Oh no, what are we going to do?"

"I don't know."

They door opens.

"I said I'll have it by to-------"

A gun explodes in his face.

"Charles!!!"

The guy laughs and exits the house.

"Burn it."

********End Of Flashback*******

I wake up screaming.

That poor couple!!!

"Whoa!!! Brooklyn you alright?"

I start crying out of nowhere. And shake my head no.

"What's wrong sweetie?"

I want to tell them but I'm afraid they'll think I'm crazy, I already do.

"Brooke, you OK?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. But Mom?"

"Yes honey?"

"Was there a fire a couple of years ago at an older couple's house?"

Mom thinks to herself.

"I don't know. Ricky, do you know if there was a fire?"

"No, I've been here all my life but I don't think there was a fire. Why did you want to know?"

"I was just wondering."

I look out the window and see my mom's house. They did some repairing, painting, and remodeling since I was here.

"Your house looks nice."

"Oh thank you sweetie. We redecorated your room. We hope you like it."

"Mommy, can I show Brooklyn her room? Please?"

"Yes you may."

"Thank you! Come on Brooklyn, your room awaits!!!"

I laugh at Raine she's so overly happy it's contagious I guess. I get out of the car and follow Raine. She leads me upstairs. And brings me to newly painted door.

"Close your eyes."

"Why? It's my room."

"Close your eeeeeeyyyyyyyeeeeeeeessssssssss." She whines.
