It was the start of a harsh Leaf-Bare, a heavy Snowstorm has covered the ground with a heavy, white powder. Prey is hiding away in their dens; the wind blows the snow all over, Lakes becoming frozen. A Tom cat emerges from behind a tree, followed by a young she. They walk together while the heavy white powder attracts to their pelts. The young she follows slowly. She stopped, let out a heavy breath, and lightly shook the snow off her pelt. She took a seat, her breath panting.

" You can't walk any faster?"

The tom stopped himself, turning and spotting the stopped she.

" I need a small break, I'm getting tired "

" Your fine! your unharmed! At this moment, you're showing yourself as weak! Get back up and continue walking, you as good as faking it!"

The she pinned her ears to her head, slowly standing up. She let out a heavy pant and started walking again. The tom resumed his walking as well, continually looking over his shoulder making sure she was still behind.

" We've been walking forever, where are we even going?"

The she stopped in her tracks, letting out another panting breath and sitting herself down. The tom stopped, turning his head.

" I Know you have a problem with me. Now, I have a problem with you"

" What are you talking about?"

" You and my son. Your relationship is wrong, you're lucky no one else knows or else you'd get exiled. Now, you're carrying his kits?! He can't be dealing with you when he has a job to do! You're just a distraction."

The tom had been walking back and forth and stopped. he got up and right in the she's face, his tail flicked behind him.

" And what a father you are! you've never really cared for him! I've seen the way you talk to him and treat him in a way that's not okay! I was the only one who understands him, the only one who treats him the way you didn't! His mother cared for him, but you saw a failure. "

The she stood herself up, her ears standing up tall and her tail flicking behind her. The tom stood back, chuckling as he put on a show for the she. he was acting shocked, to catch her off her guard.

" Is that what he told you? I would have thought it to be worse. I knew he had a hatred for me, but wow. Props to you , you're a strong one. You have wits, I see now what my son saw in you. But, those can't defend you long enough"

The tom started walking forward, his face covered in a smirk. His tail was stroking the she's neck. The she stepped back, her ears pinning to her head and her tail tucked. she had walked back to far, and she hit a tree. The tom now had her cornered.

" Your wits can't help you here, nor can your strength. My son isn't here to defend you either. Your cor--. Hey!"

The she had ran off the side, the heavy snow slowing down her speed. The tom ran after her, catching up and pinning her to the snow's ground. The she was pinned on her back, her belly clearly exposed to her attacker. The she swiped at the tom's muzzle, but he moved his face. dodging the attack, the tom slashed at the she's belly, and she let out a yowl of pain. She Kicked the tom's belly with her hind legs, distracting him. she rolled herself out from under the tom and stood herself up and started her run again. The tom shook himself and ran after the she. But the she had tripped over a tree's stump root peeking out from the snow. she panted out a heavy breath and attempted to stand herself up but failed. the tom caught up to the she.

" Ahh, looks like someone tripped."

The she was able to lift her neck up,  and attempted another swipe at the tom.

" Uh uh, don't want you to lose your kit's don't you?"

The she grunted as she was able to lift more of herself up. Her tail was still tucked, but her ears were straight up. she struggled to get her fully body off the snow, but couldn't. The tom took the chance, walked up closer to the she till they were face to face. he grabbed her by the neck scruff, turned her body around and griped the back of her head with the back of his claw.

" Oh well, your going to be lossing them anyway"

The tom tightened his grip on her head, and raised her head. The she then pinned her ears to her head, her eyes wide open, realizing what the tom was doing.

" Wai-"

The tom smashed her head into the tree's root, killing her instantly. her body layed limp in the snow, staining the white to red. The tom took one look at the she's body, turned his head and walked away.
