"There's more?" I ask, surprised.
The promise ring was already too much. How much more could he have planned?
"Of course," he said with a small smirk.
"Here, try this one on," Harry says, throwing light pink dress over the dressing room door. I caught it before it hit the floor.
I slipped it on and inspected it in the mirror. It hugged my body nicely. But the color didn't suit me very well.
"Can we try another one?" I hear Harry's footsteps go out to find me another dress.
This was the next part of his birthday treat. After we left the lake, he took me out for lunch at the park part of the lake and we had a fun picnic. Now we were in a dress shop, and I was trying on dresses that Harry picked out. He had told me he wanted to pick out the dress I were to wear to the party he planned for me tonight.
I smiled absentmindedly down at my ring. My mind was everywhere and anywhere. I was shook out of my thought when Harry knocked on the door and handed me a black dress.
"Try this one. I'm positive it's the one." He sounds pretty convincing.
I slip on the dress easily and look at myself in the mirror. The black dress had a fit and flares style and hit me mid thigh. It had a satin feeling lace pattern and had a triangular cut out in the back that showed off just enough skin not to look trashy.
"So?" I heard Harry ask patiently, hopefully.
I stepped out of the dressing room and in front of Harry. His green eyes widened and a smile formed on his lips.
"What do you think," I ask, biting my lip softly.
He turns me toward the triple sided mirror and stands behind me.
"I think we have a winner," he says with a wink.
We pay for the dress and go back home to get ready for tonight. Harry has yet to tell me where and who is going, and it's making anticipation rise in my stomach.
I do my hair and makeup, get dressed in the dress Harry picked out, and pull on a pair of mid-high black pumps. I lie back in my bed and admire my ring, thinking how I got myself here.
Around this time last year, I was an insecure girl with an eating disorder and an obsession with One Direction. I lived in Florida, United States and was inseparable with my best friend, Hannah. I went to the local public high school and was concerned on what I was going to wear to the One Direction concert.
Now here I was, living with three boys of One Direction, in a relationship with Harry Styles, and going to University in London, England. I am recovering from an eating disorder, and my best friend and family live hundreds of miles across the Atlantic Ocean from me. I'm eighteen years old, old enough to drink in England, and a legal adult in the world.
But I couldn't be any happier.
I receive a text from Harry asking if I'm ready. I reply with a yes and go into the front room to see him in a black button down shirt and dark wash jeans. In other words, he looks pretty damn good.
"Well, someone's a beautiful princess tonight," Harry says as he pulls me in close. "Happy birthday, Daniella."
Chills run down my spine as I kiss him and my mind goes insane. He's had this effect on me for quite a while now.
"C'mon, let's get going," Harry says with a smile after we part lips.

"Haz, I feel like I'm going to trip!" I say while laughing.
