"you guys can have an hour but then you gotta go to bed." My mom told us after we ate dinner.
I nodded. "Yeah yeah whatever," I murmured. The rest of the night I spent with Sasuke.
We played board games which Sasuke complained was boring but played anyway because he wanted to spend time with me.
"Ahh, you don't gotta play if you don't want to... It's a puzzle, nothing special." I smiled nervously, awaiting his response.
He glanced at me, smiling. "But every single second is important to spend with you."
Blush creeped on my cheeks, and I turned away from embarrassment to hopefully hide my reddened skin.
Sasuke reached over, pulling my chin towards him. I couldn't move, especially when I was surprised.
"Don't hide that face,"
I gulped. "W-what do ya mean? Shut up, I wasn't hiding anything..."
Sasuke looked at my eyes, then slowly followed my nose and down to my lips. He bent closer, landing a sudden kiss on me.
I sat there, looking more red than ever. "Hmph," I turned back around to the board game.
No wonder he's got so many friends... He's brave, he's good looking, and... He kisses really good.
He came down and sat beside me to play the game with me. That's what we did for the rest of the night. I enjoyed spending time with him like that.
"So ... What are we going to do." Sasuke brought up the inevitable topic we'd been avoiding. What would I say? What could I possibly say?
"I... Don't know." I ran the toothbrush in my mouth, brushing and looking down at the counter and sink.
He placed his hand on my shoulder. "Naruto, I don't wanna lose you..." His voice was quiet, words coming out softly through his lips.
I stood quiet, trying to ignore this awful topic. His other hand cupped my face, gently holding it in his cold hands.
"Say something..."
"...I said I don't know." I avoided his cold gaze.
"So you're happy to go on....like nothing happened?"
I gritted my teeth harshly. "...I'm saying we can't do anything."
He slowly let go of my face, backing away. And that was that. We brushed our teeth, eventually going to our beds.
A few minutes passed.
A few minutes turned to half an hour.
Finally, I spoke. "Sasuke... I don't want to leave you. I don't know what to do... This week... Has been the best thing to ever happen to me."
"I know you're probably not awake, but I wanted to say that anyway," I said quietly. Still, I heard some movement of his covers.
I turned to my right, to see him scooted over... Like he wanted me to sleep by him.
"Come here." He smiled with a saddened face.
I got up, climbing into his bed. His hands wrapped around me tightly, pulling me into a cuddle position.
At first I smiled, cheery of the fact Sasuke was hugging me. But I couldn't help but drift off to the real subject.
It's true.
He's... Leaving."I swear I'll try to get my parents to visit here again... I'll try my damn hardest, I'll run away if I have to..."
"Idiot, you can't run away from America to Japan... It's too far." I chuckled.
