The Kim Mansion was unusually cheerful tonight as sounds of laughter reverberated through every corner of their living room. It was half past eleven at night and the Kims' had gotten unexpected guests to their house.
And they weren't just some normal guests.
They were one of the most richest and respected families in South Korea.
The Jeons.
The owners of the well known Jeon industries. Recently, they were listed as one of the top well known companies in the world.
The Kims' too had their own company but it wasn't as powerful as that of the Jeons.
"So where is your son, Mr. Kim?" Mr. Jeon finally asked amidst their 'businessy' conversation.
"I have send someone to call for him. He must be upstairs in his room."
"Such a sweet child, isn't he? Not going to late night parties like the other youths of his age and getting wasted." Mrs. Jeon gave them a sickeningly sweet smile which a person with good eye sight could easily figure out the fakeness within it.
"My child isn't like others, Mrs. Jeon. He is obedient and can be a very good husband." Mr Kim praised his son even though it didn't come from the heart. Everything was business. And he wouldn't even bait an eye to sell his own son if that gave him any power and benefits.
"That's why I am so eager to meet him Kim." Mr. Jeon took a sip from his tea cup and relished the authentic flavour which melted in his tongue.
"Jungkook likes obedient people. They will be a perfect match. I am sure of that." Mrs. Jeon kept ranting about her so called super talented son who was the CEO of their company. There wasn't anyone left in South Korea who wasn't aware of his existence. His fame had reached such greater heights that all the other companies desperately wanted to work with him.
He is always a trending topic in the business world and no doubt, he always makes a way into the front pages of the famous business magazines.
"My son even won the title of 'CEO of the year' this year and got an offer for collaboration with The Sial, America's biggest automobile company. Isn't it, son?" Mrs. Jeon asked the raven head man sitting at the corner of the expensive, long, black sofa after sensing that he was tuning out of the conversation.
"Yeah." He replied coldly with a blank face to acknowledge his mother's question and then went back to his silent composure. He was a man of less words and more work. So he was running out of patience when he saw that the purpose of this meeting was getting delayed with useless talks.
Mrs. Kim could sense the mighty Jeon Jungkook's impatience and gulped fearfully. No one. I repeat no one wanted to be in Jungkook's bad side. She noticed her husband signalling her to go upstairs and she nodded slightly.
She stood up abruptly and excused herself for a while. Quickly making her way upstairs, she halted when she caught sight of the maid who was assigned to go and fetch her son.
She raised her eyebrows when she saw the maid trembling and sweating bullets.
"What's going on?" Her cold voice send chills down the maid's spine.
"M-madam I made sure that young master had gone to bed early today. B-But now w-when i went to c-call him, he w-wasn't there in his r-room."
The maid could very well see that Mrs. Kim was beyond pissed.
"I told you to lock the door." came her sharp reply.
"H-he...w-window-" Mrs. Kim didn't let her complete as she slapped her.
"I just gave you one job. One fucking job and you failed to do it. YOU ARE FIRED." Mrs. Kim turned away and left from their leaving the crying woman behind.
She hurriedly took out her phone and called a familiar number. As soon as the call was picked up by the other person, she spoke in a low voice,
"Wherever you are, come to the living room in ten minutes or else I'll make sure you regret your actions." saying this she hung up the call.
After that she went back to where the Jeons were and elegantly sat beside her husband, as her lips curved up into a sweet smile.
"He will be here in no time."

aehyung cursed under his breath after his mother hung up. He was well aware of the fact that the Jeons had come to visit them at this ungodly hour. He was also very well aware of the purpose of this so called meeting.
As soon as he had caught sight of their car from his balcony, he literally grabbed his precious baby and jumped out of the window not caring if he broke one or two of his bones. He just wanted to escape from this trap. But deep down he too knew that there wasn't any escape.
He was brought out of his trance when he felt little licks on his jaw. He looked down to find the adorable fluffy ball of joy staring at him with puppy eyes.
Woof!
He sighed.
"Tannie let's go inside before things get any worse."
He held his pet dog 'Yeontan' close to his chest and reluctantly walked back to the mansion. Yes mansion and not home. He never considered it his home. A home is a place where you feel loved and cared for but he had never felt something even close to it. The only source of happiness he had was the bundle of joy he was holding in his arms. The dog in turn happily snuggled more into his hooman's neck.

As he stepped close to the living room area, he slowed down for awhile.
Should i go inside?
I could just run away with yeontan and start living by myself.
But Alas! No matter where i go, they'll find me. And the consequences won't be any good.
He sighed for nth time that day and braced himself to walk inside the room.
He knew what was going to happen next.
And once he goes inside, there is no going back.
