What the f*ck just happened?

Jasmine thought as she tried to be still as a Madame Tussauds' wax figure. She did not want to wake Sebastian. She took a quick look at their entangled bodies and thanked the heavens that at least, they were both fully dressed.

They must've fallen asleep watching the movie. The tv was still on with the end credits frozen on the screen.

Sebastian stirred beside her and she quickly closed her eyes, pretending to be asleep. Sebastian shifted and she felt his arm around her waist tighten slightly. She was expecting him to wake and get up but instead, she felt Sebastian's head drop down on top of her head, his nose buried in her hair.

Jasmine shivered involuntarily at the intimate gesture. Sebastian suddenly stilled before she felt him leaning back away from her. Jasmine pretended to stir in her sleep and opened her eyes, blinking up at Sebastian who was now looking at her face.

"Hey," Sebastian said slowly, his voice still rough with sleep. She was still lying against Sebastian's chest so she quickly sat up and moved away from him. Sebastian also sat up, running a hand through his hair. "What time is it?"

"It's six in the morning," Jasmine said, her voice a bit unsteady. "I should probably go home."

Jasmine was still shaken at the thought that she had apparently slept the entire night in Sebastian's arms. But it seemed that Sebastian was completely unaffected. He was already getting up from the couch, looking around for his phone.

Should she just ignore that she slept on Sebastian's chest like it was no big deal? She usually had trouble sleeping in her own bed so she couldn't imagine how she was able to sleep so soundly last night.

"Wait, I'll walk you home. It's too early for you to be out alone." Sebastian said as he found his phone and put it in his pocket.

"No, I'll be fine." Jasmine insisted but Sebastian was already putting on his shoes.

"It's no problem, really. I'm up anyway." Sebastian said. "Do you want some coffee? Or I can make breakfast?"

"No, no, it's fine. I should go." Jasmine said as she quickly grabbed her purse. Jasmine awkwardly avoided eye contact as they made their way out of the house.

The walk to her house was short and silent. When they reached her front porch, the door suddenly opened with Iris standing there, a grin on her face.

"Well, well, well. Look who finally made it home." Iris said, her eyes darting between Jasmine and Sebastian. Iris was wearing her workout clothes and was on her way out for her morning run.

"Hey Iris," Jasmine said quickly and warned her to say nothing more with her eyes.

"Good morning, Jasmine, Sebastian," Iris said cheerfully as she passed them to head out. "I guess it was a date after all."

Jasmine's cheeks heated up in embarrassment. She wanted to murder Iris on the spot. Why did her usually quiet friend choose this moment to be chatty, of all days?

She summed up the courage to look at Sebastian. He had this amused look on his face, a hint of a smile on his still sleepy features.

"I'm sorry about Iris," Jasmine said. "I told them it was NOT a date. A non-date."

Sebastian raised his eyebrows, as if confused, but said nothing. Jasmine did not know what to make of that. After what seemed like forever, Sebastian stepped closer to her.

"Well, I enjoyed our non-date," Sebastian said before he leaned down and pressed a quick kiss on her forehead. "I'll see you later."

Jasmine watched as Sebastian walked away before she finally entered the house. She touched her forehead where Sebastian had kissed her.

She was as confused as ever.
