"Last one there pays!" I yell, then running for the cafe.
Unsurprisingly, Dex came last. "Fine," He grumbled.
Dex went to an ATM outside the cafe and retrieved a handful of $100 bills.
"Is this enough?" Our new friends stared slack-jawed at the money in his hand.
"Uh, yeah, that'll suffice." Annabeth says.
When our food comes, we all devour it like we haven't seen a decent meal in weeks.
"Sooo... wanna have some fun?" Percy asks when we're finished.
I flash a grin. "Depends what you have in mind."
"Weeellllll," Percy starts and explains to us the rules of Capture the Flag.
"Boys vs Girls!" Linh pipes up.
"Oh yeah," Leo says. "Prepare to be crushed."
--Sophie--
Annabeth devised a fool-proof plan for us.
I would track the boys thoughts and transmit their coordinates to the other girls.
Linh would take Percy,
Marella would take on Leo,
Maruca would make a force field over our flag,
Biana would turn the force field invisible with some enhancing from me,
Annabeth would be scoping out the boys' flag,
Calypso would retrieve the boys' flag,
Hazel would be hanging out near the boys, hoping some of her bad luck would rub on them,
Piper would be with Calypso, making sure she can get the flag back to the base.
Like I said, fool-proof plan.
