Ups and Downs

prologue

 I looked out over the horizon as he looked behind me, standing right next to me. "I'll take watch if you want me to?" He said in a calm voice.

                "Go." I said before he nodded and in a flash disappeared.

                Sighing I took in the beautiful, orange and purple picture in front of me. I call it a picture for a reason, the sight was just perfect, in fact it was too perfect to make it anywhere in a life like mine. My life was nowhere near perfect, sure it had its ups and downs but it would never be as beautiful as the picture in front of me. I sighed once more before I turned away from the darkening sunset. My heart stopped at the figure in front of me.
