Sonic is an impulsive and idealistic young hedgehog who lives with his parents in a village on Christmas Island. His only objective in life is to follow in his father's footsteps and become one of the King's Musketeers.
With his dog Muttski, Sonic leaves for Mobotropolis in search of adventure. He is joined there by Tails, a scrappy and garrulous two-tailed fox who becomes his squire.
Together with his comrades-in-arms, the Musketeers Silver, Antoine, and Rotor, he discovers the value of friendship and justice in an endless battle with the perverse Eggman and his henchmen, fighting against the Cardinal's power and the threat of war between Mobotropolis and Angel Island.
Will Sonic manage to become a Musketeer and at the same time win the heart of his beloved Princess Sally?
